Carlos & Carlos Antigua — Restaurant in Sacatepéquez

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Carlos & Carlos Antigua and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.

The food was simply outstanding - every dish was bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. The menu offered a great variety of dishes, from classic Mexican cuisine to international favorites, and everything was expertly prepared by the talented chefs.

The staff at Carlos & Carlos Antigua were also a highlight of my visit. They were incredibly attentive and friendly, always on hand to offer recommendations and make sure that my dining experience was exceptional.

The drinks menu was also impressive, with a great selection of wines and cocktails to choose from. The margaritas were particularly delicious and the perfect accompaniment to my meal.

My husband and I decided to dine at Carlos y Carlos last night after we walked by the restaurant yesterday afternoon and saw them making some of the pasta from scratch. We are so glad that we did. Rolando made the most incredible romantic evening for us at one of the special tables. We will remember his kindness and service as a highlight of our trip. We enjoyed the Pasta Checa and the Penna a La Farcita, the food was fresh and the flavors were unforgettable. Honestly hard to write this review because our server was AMAZING but the food was so bad we had to turn it back. We had the complimentary potato croquette which was ok, the Bella salad with chicken was as sweet as a desert. However the worst was the veal which I don’t know how it came out tough. Waiter was again great and really tried to make it up to us. We felt weird about it since it was already past their opening time AND we were the only people there the whole 90 mins we were there.
