We had a terrible meal here. The place was quiet, there was only our table of 2 and one other person sitting at the bar. We ordered spaghetti with meatballs and penne a la vodka. Our food took about 45 minutes to come out and it was not worth the wait. I got three tiny meatballs and my sauce was basically just red water that tasted like raw vodka. The penne a la vodka was just penne with a bit of tomato sauce mixed through. Both dishes were terrible and even though we were so hungry and had waited so long, we didn’t even eat half of our food and just got up, paid and left. The guy we paid said he was sorry about our food but didn’t offer to take anything off our bill which came to 220Q for two terrible pasta dishes, a coke and a water so not exactly cheap either. Maybe we just got them on a bad night but we wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreI am from NY and very serious about my Pizza. When I heard a NY pizza place was in Antigua Guatemala, Well I was beyond skeptical
The pizza was AWESOME!!!! I was shocked that the crust was the same consistency as a NY slice. I heard the NY water has a lot to do with the crust, but Central Park Pizza sure proved that myth wrong. I also was pleasantly delighted that every bite I took had an amazing assortment of flavors that bursts in my mouth long after I swallowed it. The Best pizza I have had in an extremely long tim, well since I lived in New York "Blush"
Sean and Ewa are the owners. They are both charming, giving each client personal attention. I felt relaxed at home. I felt like I was in NY. Thank you Central Park pizza for an amazing dinning experience....
Read moreSure they didn't have lasagna or chicken Alfredo which was our first choice, but the meatball sub was amazing and my girlfriend's penne vodka was the best she's ever had. She couldn't stop talking about it all day. And she's a very picky Italian connoisseur. Owners are super friendly, very interactive, and passionate. Cooks and chef are all smiles.
And these people complaining about the price/burnt pizza don't know what they're talking about. It's less than chili's or Applebee's in US. And actual real good pizza (not papa John's/domino's) always have char. If you have black dust on your fingers while eating, that usually means it's premium pizza. This guy knows what he's doing.
Thanks...
