Torty Taco Antigua — Restaurant in Sacatepéquez

We really liked the food but they didn’t tell us beforehand that they don’t accept card payment even though they have a sign that displays they do accept card payment. They then refused to accept the exchange rate of the dollar at a reasonable amount even though it was not our fault their card machine doesn’t work and they didn’t tell us. We felt this made our experience there sour and we wouldn’t recommend it unless you pay with cash in the local currency. It was our last night which is why we didn’t have so much and we were lucky to have any USD as we are not American. Hope this is helpful...

What a welcoming family run restaurant! The service was absolutely perfect. Our server was 100% attentive, our taco chef came out to our table to check on us personally. Father and Son worked together to cook our dinner while a younger daughter sat at a table doing her Homework, and we assume the older daughter was or server.... We were made to feel very comfortable and at home right down to the Farewell where the owner wanted to have a group Photo of us. Food was delicious!!...

Had such a great time at Torty Tacos! The tacos and micheladas were very good, and the atmosphere was full of energy and fun. They organized a Mexican bingo with a special prize and a tequila shot at the end — such a great touch!

The family who runs the place is super friendly and lively, making everyone feel welcome. It’s the kind of spot where you can really enjoy local vibes.
