Kristi's Island Kitchen — Restaurant in Roatán

Wow! My wife and I stayed in Roatan for one week in Mid-July, 2025 and this was by far the best meal of our trip. Grilled Red Snapper Fillet was amazing, and the 'dirty rice' it came with was also outstanding. Fish tacos were also incredible. Watching other meals go by for other people was fun, as everything looked absolutely delicious.

CLEAN place with excellent food & atmosphere and we had no concerns about cleanliness in the kitchen, which is something you have to be aware of in Roatan.

Kristi's is an easy walk on the street (or beach) from many of the West Bay resorts, such as Bananarama, Paradise Beach, and Infinity Bay. Very different atmosphere from eating on the beach at one of these resorts. Kristi’s Island Kitchen quickly became our favorite restaurant during our vacation in Roatan. In an area where a lot of food options in West Bay lean towards fried dishes, Kristi’s was an absolute breath of fresh air and a welcome change. We liked it so much we ended up eating there twice, and with four of us in our group, every single meal was perfect both times.

Some standout highlights from the menu: the ribs, fish tacos, and seafood stuffed jalapeños were especially delicious, but honestly, everything we tried was fantastic. The sangria hit the spot after a long day on the beach—refreshing and full of flavor.

Visited here for a late lunch/early dinner today during the opening hours advertised. When we arrived there was no one else there so checked with the waitress to see if they were open, she looked at her watch, said yes and reluctantly set our table. She was incredibly unfriendly, she didn’t smile once during our time there and gave very short yes/no replies. We were obviously an inconvenience for her. The food was amazing, however we will not return due to her poor attitude and customer service. We reluctantly left a tip as we weren’t sure if this was shared with the people in the kitchen.
