My family vacationed here from the 19th of Feb to the 26 of this year (2024). We had an amazing time. It blows my mind how guests seem to have such different reviews of this place. To the readers of this review be aware that this resort has different level of "all inclusive", so do your research!! We knew exactly what we paid for and didn't expect anything more than that. So, here is my review. The resort itself we found to be quite beautiful. Not large and the furthest room was mere minutes to the beach. There is currently a construction project going on (which people have complained about) but it was a non issue for us even with our room, room 905, looking directly out onto the project. The only time we were in our rooms was to sleep and the workers were long gone by then. The rest of the time we were either poolside, on the beach or in the water snorkeling. So if you planned on staying in your room all day, or on your balcony I guess you could complain about that. We barely noticed it. If you look at the resort from a satellite view, the large green area is being developed and it is going to look amazing once it's done. Some of the construction photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/c6xEuVuu6M4sadYj8 In regards to the food and staff we were exceptionally pleased. The chef, Hosé and the assistant cooks, Henry and Pablo prepared delicious dishes. We were not disappointed with a single meal. The waitering staff were always kind, friendly, attentive, polite and courteous . Francis, Selvin, Allen, Javier and Carmen were just a few of the people that worked there that we got too know. I'm sure they won't remember our family, but they all made an impression on us. It was their service, and the way they treated us that made this trip that much better. Angie and Dreven, two of the supervisors, greeted us with smiles whenever they saw us and made sure we had tables large enough to accommodate our group of eight. These two individuals were a large part of why I wanted to write this long winded review. Simply put, they were awesome. Thank-you Angie and Dreven. We wish you all the best. Another big thank you to Darrio! The most patient dive instructor ever! You rock! Our accommodations, room 905, we gave a 4/5 star review. The room was clean and spacious. It had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one ensuite) a dinning area, kitchen and sitting area with a pull out couch that accommodated our family of 5. It had a huge balcony overlooking the future pool and a smaller balcony attached to the master bedroom. Our only complaints were that the second bathroom we couldn't get the hot water to work in the shower. It's a pain in the butt when you have 5 people all wanting to shower. Our other issue were the patio door blinds. Any time we tried to move the blinds to open the patio doors, the blades would constantly fall out of the track. This is nothing major by any means. We were just concerned that we might have been found at fault for this issue. Other noteworthy things are as follows. If you are beach people, like us, be prepared for the people trying to make a living by selling souvenirs, excursions and massages. We found it a bit overwhelming. A polite "no thank you" seemed to suffice, but it was frequent. The other noteworthy thing is reserving seats with beach towels. I absolutely hate this, but it was unavoidable. The location was amazing. Here is a link to some photos of the resort and surrounding area. https://photos.app.goo.gl/dcN3LcdrWgtK6KXX8 All of the underwater shots were taken in the water directly in front of this resort. The resort faces west so you could get out into the water in the early morning to snorkel before that hot sun starts cooking your back! Then in the evening you would be treated to some spectacular sunsets and golden and blue hours. The beach gives you access to restaurants along the strip and a little further inland you can find some shopping and coffee shops. All of this was within walking distance. Hope this review helps!

Detailed Review of Our Stay – Disappointing Experience We stayed for three nights, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. On our first morning, we woke up to find the living room and kitchen completely flooded. I attempted to call the front desk, but the phone was not working. I had to walk down in my pajamas to report the issue in person, emphasizing the urgency of relocating us, as our group included two elderly individuals one of whom had already slipped, though thankfully without injury. The receptionist simply stated that someone would be sent to inspect the issue. This was at 6:00 a.m. Maintenance arrived an hour later, followed by housekeeping 20 minutes after that. We were forced to begin our day surrounded by staff trying to clean the area, which was both uncomfortable and disruptive. I returned to the front desk to request to speak with the manager, hoping for a more appropriate resolution. The receptionist, in a dismissive tone, informed me that the manager would not arrive until 8:00 a.m. and that I would need to wait. When I pressed further, she made a phone call switching to English in a mocking tone, unaware that I understood the language. She referred to me as “this woman,” which I found deeply disrespectful. No customer should be treated with such disregard, especially based on assumptions about language comprehension. At 8:00 a.m., our group returned to the front desk. The manager arrived at 8:15 but did not address us until 8:45, and only after one of our companions asked again. While the manager was courteous and attempted to help, the solution offered was a significantly smaller room than what we had paid for. By 9:30 a.m., we returned to our original room without any compensation for the inconvenience, lost time, or poor treatment by staff. This is not a property I would recommend to colleagues or friends. Vacations should be stress-free and enjoyable, not spent resolving issues caused by the hotel. Would I return? Absolutely not.

Came as a group of 9 so we had 3 separate rooms, it would almost be a daily occurrence that our key cards would stop working or wouldn’t work for amenities like the GYM. Although the resort is located in a “nice” area everything feels very cheap… Depending on the room - fridge water would not work, safe wouldn’t work, pull out couch mattress was broken, baby crib falling apart. When asking for things to get sorted out it would at least take 5 hours for them to attend to your issue ( if you’re lucky ). This was extremely frustrating as if you had plans and couldn’t get into your room, you were out of luck. Good luck getting a beach towel midday as they constantly ran out of towels ESPECIALLY on cruise days. You would either need to pick some up early morning AND ideally pay an extra 20$ USD to get an extra towel or be told “we don’t have any”. Their website is misleading, all you can eat dinner buffet advertised at 20USD a meal per person was actually 50USD per person daily … And their excuse? “ Our website hasn’t been updated “ As a group of 9 … that is a significant expense that should accurately be represented on their website. The good thing at least is that there was lots of good restaurants on the beach as alternatives to their scam. Front desk was always a pain in the … simple requests that any other resort would accommodate with not questions asked such as getting a new wrist band or to make things worst their shuttle service which was advertised as available 24/7 only ran every 4 hours EXCEPT … you guessed it, if you paid for a private driver! The snorkeling was beautiful, right from the beach you could see a multitude of fish, squid, sting ray, turtle, octopus ( depending on the time of day or night ). Would I come back to Honduras ? Of course, would I recommend this resort? Very unlikely, too many small things that shouldn’t be happening while on vacation.

We had a mix of 12 people, including families with children, couples, friends, and a vegetarian, Dec 16 to 23rd, 2024. ||The rooms at Infinity bay are great. Some of us had 2 bedroom units, others had 1 bedroom. Kitchens very well equipped in all units, including microwaves and ovens, blender, large fridges with ice machines. The water at the resort is drinkable from the tap as they have a million dollar filtration system at the resort. Large comfortable balconies as well. The rooms are large with very comfortable beds! Water pressure was lacking and took a while to get hot, but it was HOT! A few guests mentioned that the rooms were dated, but personally I was really happy with them. I could maybe say that about the chairs or furniture, but overall loved the rooms. ||The food was fantastic at the buffet. We chose the all inclusive plan so every meal we had at the buffet except on Friday night which was at the beach. We overall preferred the buffet. There was something for everyone there. In the mornings there were muffins, pastries and breads, eggs, potatoes, fruits and veggies, as well as a made to order omelet bar. Lunch and dinner had salad with tons of fresh veggie selections, as well as cooked veggie options, rice and potatoes, soup and usually 2 to 3 meat options, with one of the options being fish. Made to order Pasta for dinner as well. The drinks were strong and there was a lot of selection. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the resort, however, so meal plan is not necessary. ||The pools were very lovely albeit slightly on the cool side for some of us. There are many lounge chairs and we never had an issue finding a spot even for all 12 of us together. Several Bathrooms around the pool area that are kept clean. ||Entertainment is pretty much non-existent at the resort. One night there was a nice singer/guitar player. Apparently some nights there is a fire entertainer but we didn't see them. No music during the day or any activities going on. ||The Spa has tons of selection for facials, wraps, and massage services at decent prices. |The gym was large and well equipped compared to other resorts we have stayed. It was free with the All-inclusive plan, but I believe $10 per day if AI is not purchased. ||Staff is very friendly throughout. Special shout out to Gardan, Francisco, the main bartenders! Tons of other shout outs including wait-staff, cleaners, security, etc. which made our trip that much better. ||The Diving center at the resort has everything you need, even a snorkel rental for the day, or wet suit. A number of us went diving, including a 10 year old. The in-class portion went over the basics and answered everyone's questions as it was everyone's first time. We went straight into the ocean from the beach and since it was wavy, it was difficult to practice what we learned and a few people gave up. I feel that it would have been much more beneficially to begin in the pool, especially with children. The ones that did go out, however, had a fantastic time, right off the beach. That was the discovery class which we found to be a great price. ||The beach directly off the resort has many vendors selling bracelets, swim shirts, sunglasses, and services such as hair braiding and massage. It can be a tad overwhelming but a simple "No Thank you" and they will move along. ||Mosquitos and Sand Fleas: It was windy enough that I only saw 1 mosquito in the time that we were there, but the sand fleas were crazy for 3 of the men in particular. None of the women or children seemed to be affected. I protected myself with a concoction I made myself with coconut oil, beeswax and essential oils, especially the lower legs/feet. ||Finally, The weather was fine the first few days but there were several days of rain. The beach wasn't as calm as a result of the weather so the visibility could have been better. There is a ton of coral directly out front of the resort so you really don't need to go far to snorkel. We did do a snorkel tour, however, that took us to a shipwreck, to see starfish, and a pirate wreck where all but a few things had disappeared. Was cool to see cannons there, though. ||I'd definitely be back. It's not a busy resort, quiet if you wanted it to be quiet, but you could definitely have a fun night at the bar if you so choose. This is right up my alley as my main focus was to relax. If you're looking to party or for nightlife/daytime fun, this isn't the place. If you're looking for a home away from home, this place is paradise. |For a 4 star resort, I give...

Let me start by saying I've stayed in some awful and amazing places, visited over 70 countries in the world. I'm not a complainer and I'm not picky. I'm 42 years old and this is only the 2nd bad review I've ever written in my life. I have to really be pushed hard to get to this point. I'm an experienced traveler and have been through a lot. I booked the infinity hotel directly on the website, but did not buy the all inclusive package. When I arrived to the airport, the driving staff from the hotel immediately began hassling me about my 9lb chihuahua, saying she was not allowed in the free shuttle to the hotel, and that I would need to pay for private transportation. The hotel advertises as "pet friendly",but that is not the case. Upon arrival to the hotel, I was offered the all inclusive food package, at a cost of over $1000 for 2 people for the week. I agreed to try it for a day, based on a promise that if I didn't like it, I could be refunded and just pay to eat at the restaurant per meal. The first night of the dinner buffet, it was disgusting and made my girlfriend and I sick. I asked to cancel it and they told me it would remain as a hotel credit for my stay, refusing to refund the amount, but again promised me that whatever balance I had at the end of my stay would be refunded. They gave us the worst possible room, ground floor looking at the side wall, no view, and right in front of MAJOR CONSTRUCTION. I asked for a better room, no help was given. Next, the cleaning staff stole my girlfriends ring off the counter ($300) and a brand new shirt and jeans out of her bag. I asked the manager, DANELY to review the security cameras and see who entered the room so that it could be addressed directly with the cleaner on that day, and instead, 3 days later she provides me a key log of when the room was entered. FOR WHAT REASON I DONT KNOW! For 7 days strait the couple in the room next door was arguing nonstop. The hotel is built cheap, and there's no soundproofing between rooms, they would start arguing early, 7am and continue into the night. On the 5th day, the couple that had been fighting next door decided to enter our room at 7am, through the adjoining door, which was supposed to be locked by hotel staff with a double sided key deadbolt. Turns out this door was never locked! They came right in, drunk I suppose, saw us in our beds, stared at us until I yelled, and then left. Nice right? 4 hours later the manager sent someone to lock the door. On my final day, I requested the airport shuttle at 12 noon. The front desk confirmed and then hung up. 5 mins later they called back and said, "will you be going to the airport with your pet?" OBVIOUSLY! How stupid are these people?! They said it will cost me $40 again. After everything I've been through here already ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I told the manager I was at my limit of bullshit, she said sorry you feel like that, but it will still be $40. Determined to not give ONE MORE DOLLAR to these CRIMINALS, I arranged to pay cash to a driver I had met previously. I went to the front to checkout, where I was then informed that my $340 credit I still had would NOT BE REFUNDED and that it would be available for my "next visit". ARE THESE PEOPLE ON DRUGS? Why would I ever want to come back here?! I told the manager that if that was the case, then I'll be using my credit toward the ride to the airport, which she had previously offered me, but that was BEFORE I knew that she was renigging on the agreement to return my credit to my credit card! DANELY treated me like garbage, was rude as could be and tried her best to make me feel the pain of visiting this resort. I asked her not to print my bill, instead email it, she asked why and I said to protect the environment, as paper is made from trees, she scoffed at me and acted as if she could care less. DISGUSTING! I decided to explain to her in Spanish, since these people pretend to speak English, but don't really know how, as this hotel is too cheap to pay quality people with good...

Hope this...
