Bohem 16 — Restaurant in Budapest

The place looks fine and could be good to have a drink but the food is actually pretty bad. Unfortunately the burgers I had were dry and made from probably low quality meat, there is barely any salad/vegetables on the burger and the fries taste literally like to frozen potato wedges from Lidl. On top of that while the price was not that high, it is it definitely to high for the quality you get , I paid 4000 fr for the burger and 'fries', almost €10!, a price way more acceptable for good food. Compliments to the waiter though who really quickly put the manual rain screen down when it randomly started to rain pretty quickly, small bit of sporting in between the serving :). My hubby was duped by the 4,5 star rating on Google Map and a false review about its "awesome" or "excellent" burger. My hubby ordered and ate a hamburger with a beer patty that had come from the freezer, not freshly made by the chef. The wedges, paid separately, seemed fine though. I paid about 16k HUF for 2 burgers, 2 fries, 2 sodas, 1 beer, and 1 wine.

An afterthought: Every review I wrote in Budapest was rejected by GM; it claimed that I've written a false review. I would be wary of reviews written about restaurants in Budapest in the future.

Great location in one of my favourite streets close to Szell Kalman Ter, this area really has established itself with great bars and cafes, Bohem 16 has a very helpful and enthusiastic team, we only had coffee and teas and really enjoyed the late night feel of the area while sitting under the trees.
