OK... so, Budapest is enjoying the revival of coffee culture after an unfortunate hiatus during Socialist years, it has come back with elementary vehemence. This small coffee shop is one of the new style, quick gulp places at the side of a "farmers' market", offering a respite after an exhausting hunt for the ingredients of the upcoming family meal. You'll be amazed to see that they carry a sortiment of Breville espresso machines, fresh roasted coffee, some cakes and a larger sortiment of pure and milk based coffee products. When staying in line - which is inevitable due to the place being thoroughly loved - admire the Della Corte espresso machine with its special group head. If you are a purist and go for an espresso, you will enjoy the crema, the beautiful, siroupy texture and - to my amazement- the slightly acidic, fruity aroma of the brew. I religiously choose the dark roast and almost charred aroma - French, Italian, 'City' roasts, chasing my former experience decades ago, this time I was reminded of the amazing flavor spectrum an espresso can offer. I absolutely loved the coffee here — it was well balanced, leaning more towards the bitter side, yet still full of fruity undertones. You can choose between a light roast Sarchimor bean or a darker roast for your drink, and there are plenty of other coffee beans available for purchase. They also offer a wide selection of coffee machines and accessories. The staff were knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions about the products and beans.
