BUDDHA ORIGINAL — Restaurant in Budapest

The food was amazing! We had 2 soups, 2 main dishes and 2 drinks. We are sushi lovers and can fairly say that the sushi here was very good. The fish was fresh, the rice was nicely prepares, the taste of the soup was exactly as it should be and we will definitely recommend it to our friends and come back here every time we visit the city.

The personel was a bit grumpy, but it did not influence our experience or the taste of the food (which is what we went in for) 😁. The general ambiance was realy nice, everything nicely decorated, very clean, nice bathrooms, nice chairs, beautiful decor. Simply winderful ❤️

We bought a red wine battle, in the menu it said 2015 they brought us one from 2021 (cold) didn't let us taste it and pured a glass i tried it it tasted bad but the others said they liked it. After that she pured them a glass too and then they noticed it said 2021 and they wanted to refund it because the waitress didn't told us it's a 2021 but they said they won't do it. And just walked away After that they gave us they bill and we wanted to pay with Euro thay said it's ok but when you pay with cash they take extra (around 4 euro they higher the price the more they add) without telling you (changing 50 euro costs around 280 Forint so they 100 euro our meal costed it was 560. Ordered online, which took forever because the English site has many broken links and buttons, then when I logged in, it deleted my whole cart, so I had to try again.

Finally ordered and got the email confirmation, 20 min later, get a call saying they don't deliver (even though I clicked 'home delivery' on the page). Spoke to the woman on the phone and told them to make the food anyway, and I'll pick it up in 10 mins. She told me no, and that I have to come in and order again, and stand there while they made it. I clarified, that I'm definitely coming in, and again, please put the order through and make the food, but she told me no, I have to come before i can order.
