Very, very, very bad experience. It takes a while for the waiter to notice you but after a bit he will hand out the menu, it might take up to 15 minutes. After you decide what dish to take the waiter will tell you that they only serve breakfast so you can start all over. Of course, this is not communicated anywhere and we observed multiple guests where the same happened.
After a bit the dish arrived and it looks like it came straight out of the can and is smashed onto your plate. It also tastes like it. Dont forget to mention that the fried eggs are cold and the toast is everything but not crunchy.
The fresh juice comes fresh out of the bottle and is of the quality that you can expect from your local Supermarket.
And the waiter, a little bearded guy with buttons as earpiece, you deserve all the credits because you, and only you, scared aprox 20 people away with your rude and everything but professional behaviour. I wonder what the business loses with your attendance.
Conclusion: Dont go there, look for something better. It is...
Read moreBonus points for those of you who catch the tie between the name of the restaurant and the theme inside. I'd tell you but it's more fun to make you guess then look it up. It's not often I give a full five stars for everything. This place deserves it. I ate eggs benedict each morning I was in Budapest but at a different restaurant each time. I did it that way so I could easily compare them. Garzon was BY FAR the best. In fact, it was the only one I would even consider a true eggs benedict; the others were only such by name. One was so terrible I couldn't even finish it and poached eggs are one of my favorite foods. The service was lovely. He was extremely attentive. I stupidly reached across the table and dragged my shirt sleeve in my hollandaise sauce. I used a napkin to clean it. The server came over with a warm wet cloth for me. I didn't even known he had seen it. If I lived in Budapest this would be a regular...
Read moreWe visited the Café, because there was not any free place on Friday evening. The place has really cozy atmosphere.
The employees were so kind, but a little bit oblivious. Our table was the farest from the bar, and when waiter went around they didn’t ask quite often if we need something, despite the fact that we made it clear we had nothing to drink. We were also waiting so long for the receipt. I understand that there was full restaurant, but there were 5 employees and they went around so many times.
The beer and cocktails were so good. The dinner wasn’t the best, smaller portions and meal better average. So I was decided to give the restaurant 3 stars. But in the morning we tried their Brunch, which was amazing. Really tasty. It was really pleasant to enjoy breakfast or coffee there.
I can recommend to spend there your time, maybe sit closer to bar if you can, and try really...
