In a nutshell: Great place for tasty food, interior could look better, nice service.

We went on a tuesday in winter. The place is pretty small and doesn't have a lot of tables. But my main problem with the interior itself was that it looked very crowded, stale and plain. It didn't feel good to sit there.

Thus said, the food was great! I had shakshuka and my boyfriend had a shakshuka hummus plate. Plus two homemade lemonades. Together we paid 6250 ft.

The lemonade was AMAZING. It was lemon and mint flavoured and even had a few bits of the ingredients floating around in the glass which I personally really liked – because it meant that fresh produce was used in the making. The sweetness of the lemonade was on point and not too sweet. It was absolutely refreshing.

Our dishes were also pretty nice and we would definitely go back. If only the interior looked a bit nicer... My boyfriend said that it felt a bit like a Subways.

The staff however was very friendly and we even got a tiny free...

a breath of fresh air The food is amazing, all types of hummus is delicious, fresh, creamy and flavourful. Stuff there is extremely friendly, kind and a perfect example how to do hospitality with their smiling faces, kindness and high level of service. They accomodate all requests if they can :) The girl who served us this week late evening (9pm) is full of kindness and even nice to the last minute customers who got there right before they close. My absolute favourite hummus place in the country. Don’t let yourself fooled, they are not the same across the country… the Bartók Bela team is the best amongst all. Not only once came here to have food because the food is tasty, the service is good with reasonable price. But last time we went, things changed a lot! 1 The waiter give us the wrong food by mistake and apologied, which is fine, but to be told we have to change the food by ourselves. 2 Normally they accept the green card, but this time they say no. All right, we change to another card. 3 Normally they do not charge the service fee in the bill instead of we left some changes on the desk, and this time they mandetory add 10% service fee to us.
