Vegan Love — Restaurant in Budapest

Listen to all the negative reviews and avoid this place. The quality of the food is horrible and the service is abysmal. Disgusting. We were delivered completely soggy inedible nachos and a cold gyros platter with a tiny amount of pita bread, plain gyros “meat” with hardly any sauce on it. Most of the box was filled with lettuce. Also, since when is it normal to add cooked broccoli to a gyros platter? Even a partial refund was refused by the restaurant, even though we sent pictures and explained all of the issues in detail. For 9400 forint we had to put almost all of the food in the bin with. We had the worst experience with this restaurant and as I can see from all of the negative reviews, we weren’t the only ones. Also why not use some common sense and send the nacho toppings separately in small boxes so that the nachos don’t completely soak through and become floppy, disgusting and inedible. I am so so...

This is easily the worst place I have eaten in Budapest and by far the worst vegan restaurant I have eaten in so far. (I love vegan food and have been eating in vegan restaurants at least once a week)

1.The place is very small and if you want to eat, be ready to sit close to strangers.

The food double cheese burger was absolutely disgusting, it was a kind of a wierd paste shaped into a patty. It literally tasted like I was eating playdough/silly putty. Also ordered the Mexican burger and it tasted like buns with avocado inside.

The fries were good but they don't give you ketchup, they literally give tomato paste instead. Also ordered their original lemonade. It was good but overpriced.

Overall, I definitely recommend not to come here. I usually don't write so critically about a place, but this was notorious, an insult...

I had the sandwich "philly cheese steak". For the price it was kind of disappointing. Sure, it was full of pretty well-done seitan and caramelized onion, but the cheese seemed to have only touched it. In other words, it was mostly just gluten with more gluten (seitan +bun). This is not necessarily bad, i like this kind of 'junk food', but i would suggest adding some fresh vegetables to this sandwich, at least lettuce. But hey; it's my fault i ordered it. I should've gone with something far cheaper. With fries and packaging (had to order takeaway because it was full) this meal cost me ~2500HUF! I would rate 4,5 stars because of these things, rounding it up to 5. Such a nice, fully vegan place should get all the support it...
