I had never witnessed such bad treatment in a place due to discrimination, I was with my group of friends and one of them has a very particular laugh (something that is very natural and cannot be contained). And apparently the only ones who bothered were a waiter and a bartender. The waiter very rudely approaches us and tells my friend directly that she should moderate it because her laugh is something out of the ordinary (how to moderate your laugh). I particularly asked clients who were next to us if my friend's laughter was annoying, to which they say that it was not at all (it is common). After we were very upset with his comment and derogatory way of saying things, the waiter who had served us before offered us a free bottle of wine as a way of apologizing for how the other waiter had treated us. His treatment was totally wrong and the way to compensate is for another waiter to offer us an apology and a bottle of wine (when we had already had 4) we definitely finished what we drank and left. I will never go back to a place where they don't let you laugh. Why didn't the person who rudely discriminated against us come up to apologize?. Because it was quite annoying to see my friend suffer in such a way that she had to hold her mouth just not to laugh. If its possible I'll put -1 star. She was shocked because it is the first time in her entire life that someone says something to her because of her laughter. So It was the...
Read morePalack is a charming wine bar that effortlessly combines a relaxed atmosphere with a sophisticated selection of wines and cocktails. From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting ambiance set the tone for a wonderful evening with friends.
The wine list is truly impressive, featuring a carefully curated selection of both local and international bottles. Whether you're a fan of bold reds, crisp whites, or something in between, Palack has something to satisfy every palate. Their mixed cocktails are equally outstanding—creative, well-balanced, and expertly crafted.
The food menu complements the drinks perfectly, offering a tempting variety of shareable plates. The tapas selection was equally impressive. Every dish was beautifully presented and made with high-quality ingredients.
What truly made the evening special was the attentive yet unobtrusive service. The cozy yet lively atmosphere made it easy to unwind, laugh, and enjoy great conversation over fantastic food and drinks.
Overall, Palack is a gem—a place where excellent wine, delicious food, and good company come together seamlessly. Whether you're looking for a romantic date spot, a casual catch-up with friends, or simply a place to enjoy a well-made drink,...
Read moreA very cozy wine bar in Szent Gellért Square, near the Danube bank, which is really easy to access. Thanks to the large terrace, many companies can also take a seat outside, but the interior can also be an ideal choice. However, since this is a busy place, it is definitely worth booking a table in advance in order to get a table in the place of your choice. The wine selection is really wide and satisfactory, with many different types of wine from a wide variety of regions. You can find mainly Hungarian products on it, but you can't complain about the foreign selection either. And what made this place the most special for me is that it is worth visiting not only because of the wines, but also because of the food, as you can choose from a wide variety of tapas and light summer dishes that are also very tasty, making the wine experience more perfect. Everything we tasted was extremely delicious and of good quality. The service was unfortunately not the fastest, but the place was very busy. Nevertheless, we would be happy to return...
