During my recent visit to this charming Korean restaurant, I was impressed by the perfect blend of great music, excellent service, and, most notably, the delicious culinary offerings, especially their famous Korean chicken.

From the moment I stepped in, the musical ambiance contributed to creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. The selection of Korean songs added an authentic touch that perfectly complemented the dining experience. The staff, always attentive and friendly, made the evening even more enjoyable.

The undisputed star was the Korean chicken, whose unique flavor and juiciness made it the standout dish of the night. The combination of flavors and textures in every bite was simply delightful. Additionally, the presentation of the dish showcased the care and attention the restaurant puts into every detail.

The menu, overall, offered a variety of authentic and tasty options, from Korean classics to more innovative choices. The use of fresh ingredients and the careful execution of each dish demonstrated the kitchen's dedication to providing a high-quality culinary experience.

In summary, this Korean restaurant not only delivers excellent cuisine but also provides a complete experience that combines pleasant music, impeccable service, and, above all, exceptional food, with a special mention to the irresistible Korean chicken. Definitely a place I would recommend to any Korean food enthusiast and those looking for a memorable...

After a few beers and a leisurely stroll in the gorgeous Budapest sunshine, hunger struck. Then, like an oasis in the desert, I stumbled upon a Korean Street Food restaurant. Without hesitation, I made my way inside.

The atmosphere immediately struck me: a modern, urbanised space with an almost semi-industrial edge. Steel staircases, exposed brickwork, and the gentle hum of K-Pop in the background created a lively yet relaxed setting. I was welcomed by a warm and pleasant server, who suggested I try a grape soju along with their signature sweet and spicy chicken wings.

The soju was a revelation—light, refreshing, and full of character. Unlike the traditional grain-based versions made from rice, barley, wheat, or sweet potatoes, this one was crafted with Korean pear and apple wine, giving it a smooth, delicate, and slightly fruity profile. The green grape flavour made it even more unique, pairing beautifully with the food.

Then came the wings. Perfectly crispy, generously coated in a sticky chilli-and-honey glaze, and bursting with bold flavour in every bite—they were nothing short of addictive.

With reasonable pricing, great recommendations, and genuinely friendly service, this little spot delivered far more than I expected. A hidden gem in the heart of Budapest—one I’ll definitely be...

We popped in randomly with my friend and were very surprised to find a little gem among other great and not so great restaurants and pubs in the area.

Whwn we entered we were greeted by a lovely member of the staff who told us we could sit wherever we wanted and handed us our menus.

I had the fried chicken with the sweet and spicy sauce which was flaky, crispy and well-seasoned on the outside, and juicy and flavorful on the inside. The side of fries was also well seasoned and the diah paired well with the cold beer I had.

My friend ordered the bibimbap, and gave me a bite, so I can speak from personal experience when I say that it’s a must-have. It was fresh, but well seasoned and a little spicy from the sauce.

Dfinitely try the soju, I recommend the strawberry one if you’re not a big drinker. (I’m more of a peach soju fan but unfortunately they didn’t have that :(( Maybe next time.)

I live in Budapest and always like to try new places but I don’t always come across places that tick all the boxes for me. Kpub has it all, though. Great food, great music, lovely staff AND drinks!!

One little thing I’d like to mention, tho, is the fact that most of the staff speaks English, so if you have trouble with that, make sure to bring a friend to translate!! It’s more fun...

Hidden gem in downtown Budapest with unique Korean style interior, giving ruin bars vibes. The staff’s hospitality is outstanding and the whole pub has a great atmosphere. Absolutely loved the food, their Bibi Noodles is a must, great flavors, crispy dumplings with delicious filling on top. Their Bibimbap is one of the best you can get in town. Our personal favorite was the Jeon (Korean pancake), we chose the seafood one and there’s no explanation needed as to why Koreans always eat these when it’s raining. Tastes so good. The Gimbap is really nice too. On the other hand I don’t recommend their Kimchi Jjigae because it’s a bit too sour and despite the cocktails looking real pretty, you should order Soju instead. The Mojito is far too sweet, tastes kinda like mint toothpaste and Pina Colada also tastes artificial. They offer a wide selection of Soju, which is the go to drink for Koreans and pairs well with the food. I highly recommend this place for those who love Korean cuisine, vibing to Kpop and also simply if you want to hangout with friends in the evening, while enjoying good food and some drinks, without breaking the bank.🍻🥟
