It's a shame that a restaurant with such great food can be let down so badly by its service. While I usually focus on the positives, the issues we faced with our server, "Bela," were too significant to ignore.

Let's start with the things we enjoyed. The South American sirloin I ordered was fantastic—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The red wine was excellent, and the outdoor seating was a lovely spot to relax. The music was also a nice touch, even though we heard the same songs a few times.

However, our dining experience took a turn for the worse with our server. From the start, Bela seemed more interested in showing us the expensive dry-aged meats than listening to our order. He eventually took our order, but that was just the beginning of the problems. He repeatedly got our meals mixed up, despite writing them down. He took plates from our table and confusingly returned them to the same people. He insisted I had ordered the burger when I had clearly ordered the steak. But the most alarming mistake involved our friend, who is severely lactose intolerant. Bela brought them the wrong meal, assuring us it was lactose-free when it was not. Thankfully, a side dish mix-up was a red flag, and we were able to switch the meals before they ate anything.

A final note on his service was when he confidently switched our cutlery, giving steak knives to those eating pasta and butter knives to those with steak. His attitude was arrogant and overbearing, which made these simple mistakes feel much worse.

We loved the food, but the service from Bela was completely unprofessional and ruined an otherwise enjoyable meal. We really hope the next time we visit, we get a server who is more attentive and less...

Our experience in this restaurant started off really well, our waiter was really helpful with explaining the menu and informing us that we are able to change the sides that come with the steak on the menu. However, we ordered our steaks medium rare and two of these came well done and my friend then ordered a burger medium and this came rare, with the chips coming cold. Two of the meals were not eaten, and we proceeded to make our waiter aware that we were disappointed with our meals. The waiter then offered us a free dessert to apologise. However, as we did not enjoy the mains we did not want a dessert. The waiter then came back and said that he would take the burger off the bill, only to see that we had then been charged for ‘extra’ sides as well, despite as mentioned him advising us at the beginning that we can swap the sides. As this was incorrect we raised this confusion with the waiter and after him going away and looking at the bill, he only took two of the sides off. At this point we felt really frustrated about the service that we were receiving, so then complained about our steaks as well… the waiter was unable to deal with the complaint so said he would get his manager, 20 minutes later and the manager had not come and addressed the complaint with us…. Finally, we receive a discounted bill and leave. Overall, very disappointing experience - never been to a meat house where the meat is not cooked correctly. Definitely not...
