Old Street Café — Restaurant in Budapest

I am a greek chef visiting Budapest with my wife. We saw the restaurant while strolling the area. The guy that took the order was in a hurry maybe, also Hungary has a big problem with hospitality and also they should learn to speak English, so I start giving the order it was 1 small portion of goulash, one Carbonara , one bolognaise pasta,two beers and a bottle of still water. To the table came after long with empty almost restaurant. 2 soups but we didn't mind the issue was that when you are selling beef soup it should have beef and not just 4 small cube of meat. Also when the pasta came, that we ordered it thinking how wrong could it get, guys it worst the absolute worst. The Bolognese now sauce at all just minced meat cooked and my wifes Carbonara for some reason had loads of garlic, burned garlic smelling awful and it was of course with heavy cream. I had to ask again for the water that never came. We had Infront of us the pastas with no utensils. It was the absolute worst experience we had in Budapest. They should be embarrassed charging 63€ for this....

We were stopped on the street by an employee of this restaurant and encouraged to give it a try. We examined the offerings that were advertised on the outside windows of the restaurant and asked several questions about the availability of the dishes we wanted to try. We decided to give it a try and ordered the paprika chicken and some goulash which were both advertised outside with prices. When the bill came and I noted that the prices were higher that what was quoted outside - the employee went to ask the manager and they came back and said "sorry these are the new prices and thank you for letting us know the sign is incorrect." We paid the bill, which comes with an automatic 12% service fee and left. We passed by the next day to see if the sign had been changed to reflect the new prices...
