I had one of the WORST experiences in a restaurant ever! I wish I could give 0 star rather then 1. We had a 12.30 brunch reservation on a Sunday for 5 people. As we started looking at the menu we decided to get the duck liver appetizer and the Koro cheese to share as a starter. The waitress came by and said I heard you talking about the koro cheese, and I want to let you know we are out of it as well as a duck liver appetizer. So we ordered drinks, and looked at other appetizers. She came back and we ordered the hummus and the eggplant appetizer. She returned a few minutes later saying that her coworker sold the last order of hummus. We decided not to have appetizers then, since they literally had nothing, so we went ahead and ordered the main course. two of us at the table ordered the eggs Benedict. When we gave her the order the server literally looked scared, she walked away for a few minutes and she came back and she told us: “WE’RE OUT OF EGGS”! We couldn’t believe it!!! At this time it was after 1 pm, still no drinks on the table, and they were out of eggs, for Sunday brunch at 1 pm! And they’re like 10 grocery stores right around the block… So we just got up and walked out. Huge disappointment, we will...
Read moreThe food was mediocre at best. After sitting down we were confronted that there was a special menu because they were changing it. Instead there was a small selection of BBQ dishes (1 of which was sold out already at 19.00 without being busy). Servings were rather small and quality was not matching their pricing. Their "rib eye steak" tasted and looked like a pulled pork sandwich. No mention was made of the dish being a sandwich rather than a proper steak dish either. Even worse, cheese was baked through the meat to hide the dryness of it. A main course is not enough to fill a person. Did not have a bistro feeling but rather a sandwich bar. Will not go here again.
Actually after writing this all down; Just found out they had a BBQ event in the afternoon before we were there. We highly suspect the meat served were leftovers from this event. (Funny enough they served pulled pork on that event, coincidence?). I agree that food waste is not a good thing but don't sell it for even more at the end! (3750 ft for leftovers is in any country...
Read moreI felt deceived by this restaurant. I’ve been here many times before, referred it to others and generated new bookings for them. And now I had a reservation made two weeks in advance. When I called to say that me and my group would be a few minutes late I was told that my reservation had been unilaterally cancelled because they needed our four people table for a larger group. To add insult to injury, they falsely claimed that they did not have my phone number which I did indeed provide to them at the time of booking. As a tourism industry professional with many links to travel writers and tourism reps I was material in creating awareness for this place. I now regret it and won’t ever return. They spoiled a a perfectly well planned evening for both greed and carelessness - that’s totally...
