Yesterday, my companion and I were spending a nice late afternoon and early evening at the restaurant, trying multiple dishes and drinks. Their Lychee Tea was good, just a bit sweet for my taste. Mango Salad was fresh and interesting. I read reviews declaring Pho here tasteless, I'd rather say it has a subtle taste, letting the extra ingredient - in our case the good amount of shrimp - shine. Adding all the optional garlic definitely boosts the flavours. The soup was quite filling, so if one goes there to eat only one course, Pho is a good choice. If one would like to have beer there, I recommend the Vietnamese Saigon made of rice (drinking it directly from the bottle felt me better than from glass). Hot Ginger Tea was nice and refreshing. Fried Banana was okay, though the choco sauce had too much water, did not stick to the banana, resulting in most of it staying on the plate. I think their Mango Sticky Rice with coconut milk sauce is a much better dessert, I liked it.
During my first visit here a few weeks earlier, I had Charcoal Grilled Bun Cha accompanied by a bottle of Saigon. The food was tasty, but didn't fill me and I'm an average person consideing appetite. I don't say I stayed hungry, but learning from my mistake, I definitely recommend ordering another course before or after that dish.
Nice and friendly staff, quick service, there was no crowd on a Saturday or Sunday evening, which is a bonus.
Clean place, nice dishware and serving, the interior has good South-East Asian wibes. Just the Western pop music makes the journey incomplete, and it was weird listening to a Christmas hit in August. During my first visit, I felt the music a bit loud at a point, fortunately, the volume was no problem next time. Their kitchen is open, and the sound of the mixer was not pleasant, but one can endure a few minutes of noise. Otherwise the place is relaxing, good for talking.
Prices are similar to other Vietnamese restaurants' in the area, there are less people because this place is quite new, opened just this summer.
All in all, I enjoyed my visit, will definitely return to try...
Read moreWe had an amazing dinner with our family yesterday at Phú Restaurant and Bar. Just booked the table right about 30 minutes before coming to the restaurant, we were totally surprised with the well-prepared, nicely decorated table in the balcony with fresh, absolutely delicious Asian-favored food. With the spacious dining area outside, easily hanging out with friends and family, kids really enjoyed the food here, especially fried- rice. Honestly, it’s the most delicious food in the city compared with the others, the restaurant has the secret recipe to make it crispy and especially absolutely not greasy as in other places and a must-try meal if you come to Phú restaurant. Also, we tried 3 kinds of salad (mango, beef, and shrimp salad), all of them tasted so good, the ingredients were so naturally fresh, perfectly cooked and prepared. Vietnamese Nem Rán was undeniably the most beloved dish with the crispy texture and full of flavor inside. Also the other dishes here, cannot describe all of them in detail, but overall, everything was so good, professionally cooked with the perfect combination of spices, ingredients and sauces. We were served with the most warming hospitality. Definitely worth 10 out of 10 for the service and food. Highly recommended for the tourists and communities around there to visit...

Honestly, I still can’t get over it. If you’re in Budapest and you don’t eat here, are you even doing it right?
The lemonade? Pure summer in a glass. So refreshing, perfectly balanced — sweet, tangy, and just makes you feel good The mango salad? A love song. Sweet mango, a bit of spice, crunchy greens — I swear, for a second I thought I was on a beach in Bali, not in the middle of Budapest.
Service? 10/10. Super kind, chill vibe, nothing fake, just real hospitality. And the vibe? Immaculate. Cozy, aesthetic, you just wanna sit there forever and take 100 pics
Final verdict: I’m 100% coming back — with friends, with someone special, or even solo. I need to relive this tasty little moment of...
