THE BIG SHORTTHE BIG SHORT
We ordered the breakfast dish, which is the specialty of the place, along with two coffees. Unfortunately, it was a scorching hot day, and the air conditioning in the restaurant was ineffective from the start. We found a table upstairs where it was unbearably hot and had to return downstairs. When we received our coffee, I was surprised because one was small and the other was large, despite ordering two of the same size. (Coffee was great!) The breakfast disappointed me greatly... I understand that the egg is supposed to be soft, but the egg white was practically uncooked, and the egg was already cold. The plate's presentation initially looked very good, but the salad lacked dressings or fruity accents. I ended up eating plain lettuce. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place after our first visit. This is an objective opinion expressed by couple.

We arrived here by chance, because was close to our accomodation. Was the best luck for us. The atmosphere is amazing. It has a very nice vibe and great music. The service was fast first time, 2nd time was crowded and the food came pretty slow. The food is very tasty. I had Chicken Bagel - very good, and next day I had the Famous Platter and was great! I think is meant for 2 people but I ate all by myself. I also tried the other Bagels from friends and i liked the Camenbert and the Classic. They also tried Omelette and Mozzarela - they have good feedback. My friends had latte and espresso, they liked it. I had fruit tea, and was also very good. I dearly reccomend, very good and fresh food!

We've been coming here everyday since arriving in Budapest and it has been such an amazing find. First of all, staff are polite and wash tables frequently. They provide table service with no additional charge (rare in Budapest - mostly everywhere charges 12.5-15% even drinks at a bar come with additional fees) The bagels are fresh, tasty and fairly big, all for such a low price. They don't skimp on ingredients as the bagels are pretty packed too. We simply cannot eat here without tipping, it really is that good. Two bagels, and two lattes approx 4700 (£10.40) which is excellent as mostly every other establishment employs tourist prices with service fees. Highly recommend!

We got there at 11AM, they were out of eggs. We had some bagels, which was the only thing they had. Dough was tough and hard to chew. Service is terrible, we waited too long for food and coffee, then we ordered orange juice because bagels were stuck in our throats, we wanted to wash them down. Again, no juice for 15mins. We got down, and there it was, a glass of juice waiting on the counter, even though they explicitly said they'll bring it upstairs. Staff is unorganized, place is too hyped up, 10 square meters of space. There is even a tip jar on the counter. Tip them for what??! For ordering by myself, getting it myself, cleaning the table after the previous guests by myself... get the f out of here....
