And, that was all guys! If you liked the video don’t forget to like and subscribe to my channel if you would like to see more historical stuff. Thanks to your favourite- History Antony! And then, he opens messenger app to write his friend to say how many followers he got. Today is the day when he got his first million! “You will not believe how many followers I got! One million! Finally!” While he was texting suddenly he bumped into a old woman- fortune-teller and she drops all her things down. Oh, I’m sorry! The fortuneteller sat down to pick up her things. You will regret about this in the future! “Will I? She is so arrogant…”Anton starts to help her to pick up all things she dropped. when she finishes she forgets some cards on the floor. Anton sees it and pick them up. Your cards! Fortune teller turns and looks at him then goes out if scene. As Anton got on train, he sits on nearest seat and spends some time reading some news magazine. Then he looks in the window, it was his latest finish ever so, he falls asleep. In his dream he sees that like some cards that look really similar from what he had stolen. They dropped on the floor and then the groud like disappeared under his bum. The world suddenly turns into a cartoon. he wakes up in some cave. He stands up and goes to the nearest turn. Anton is terrified with what is going on.He walked to one of humans which he saw and asks where is he.”Phew, there is some humans here” Um, excuse me! Do you know where are we? Oh, hi there, we are in mazes of whole Budapest which called budavarí labirintus. Oh! Thanks! Surprisingly, he read about they place 2 days ago. He starts a new video.” No clickbates today“ Omg, guys I was trapped here, in this tunnels and you know what? it’s Budavari Labirintus. Such a luck! I read about them 2 days ago. And I will tell you a bit about this labirintus. Here, this is a map of labyrinths. As you can see, they are just HUGE and located all over the city. But no one knows their real and exact form. They say that they go far beyond Budapest and stretch in different directions. When the castle over this cave was built, the tunnels were filled and connected to form a labyrinth. These caves appeared about half a million years ago, back in the prehistoric period. Then a haven for primitive people, then a medieval torture chamber, dark for a vampire, a Turkish harem, a prison for especially dangerous criminals. Hospital and fascist hospital and execution rooms of the KGB. The Hospital is also under lock and is now a museum. However, during World War II, the site was used as a very important bomber hospital. Later, during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, the hospital was reopened to treat wounded civilians and soldiers. It closed at the end of that year, but was turned into a secret nuclear bunker during the Cold War. In the event of a nuclear or chemical attack, a full-fledged hospital was still equipped in the bunker. During this time, some doctors and nurses regularly practiced preparation procedures. At the beginning, when I went in, I saw lamps, photographs, and I was quite comfortable, but when I came in here and saw that there are such dark and even a little terrible places. Now these places have become a museum, but they say that the ghosts of the people who died here still walking through these tunnels and terrify tourists There are places where there is no lightening at all, it's scary to go further. I was already beginning to worry that I would not be able to find my way out. But in fact, it is impossible to get lost here. For visitors, only thousands of meters of the cave passage are open, and all other passages are walled up. I To be honest, I haven't been here long, but I'm already starting to feel uneasy. That is, firstly, it is cold

here, secondly, a closed room, and thirdly, my head hurts, my eyes are just tired from the fact that there is such a different lighting. Well, as you can see, it’s so yellow here, it’s already blue right behind me, and white to my right, well, it really...

on a really hot day this is a great way to get out of the sun and cool down those hot bodies.

I'm a Vlad enthusiast and was very excited to see where he was supposedly imprisoned for 14 years. But as it turns out this isn't the place to learn about our beloved Impaler.

The first 10 minutes of walking around these chilling caves is a cool experience indeed. The sun was out to party that day and it was a great excuse to escape the midday heat. However, once you adjust to the low degree temps, you ask yourself, what's the point of this?

Firstly, it costs 4,000 HUF to enter. That is surely a low cost to pay to learn about the history of our man Vlad and his bloody history.

Then you find yourself suddenly involuntarily learning about the history of Hungarian opera. In a dark damp room beneath a castle. I didn't want that. I wanted Vlad.

The labyrinth continues on until you finally find yourself standing in front of a couple of information signs about our man Drac, and that's it.

Then all of a sudden you're in a cold damp escape room trying to find the exit.

You then find the exit, but low and behold, a twist. A whole room dedicated to famous caves around the world. I didn't think I was in a cave, but it's nice to know the owner is a keen cave enthusiast.

I learned nothing about draccy and his apparent 14 years of imprisonment, but I did see some mannequins dressed in traditional Hungarian opera attire.

Did I cool down from the midday heat? Yes. But my thirst for knowledge for Vlad the...

So, Ill be honest. On a normal day when I'm mr Grumpy pants this would have been a total waste of money. However after 2 large beers and the Houdini Museum being full we took a punt. Not sure weather its the cheesyness factor of the play doh sculptures ( half of them missing) The 1940's era wax mannequins in dubious poses behind bars. Or, the funkiness' of the place in virtually pitch black. There is a very entertaining and endearing quality to the whole experience. The Vlad bit at the bottom of the maze is quite creepy and well worth the journey. If your claustrophobic, Avoid like the plague tbh. im 6'1 and had to bend down in a lot of cases ( again 2 large vases of Dreher 15 minutes prior helped enormously ) If you need a wee. im not sure anybody would notice down there but please partake in the toilets at the end. Completely adds to he whole authentic dead feel. If your into Heath and safety. Please take a vallium 1 hour prior you will really need it, really trust me here....... On the whole we loved the whole thing, Yes you could spend a fortune doing it up, make it really sinister and a massive tourist draw. Please don't though, it needs to stay like this. Some things need to be a bit worn to add to the entertainment value. We didn't stop laughing the whole way round. Also, it was 37 deg c outside on the day we went it was nice and cool down there...

We visited today this amazing place… to uncover … almost didn’t get in as the “guard” who operates the place wasn’t there in time so we thought it’s closed .., luckily we we’re walking around then saw it’s opened! I really love that it’s not overcrowded (at least not today at the opening) like other tourist attractions … Highly recommend it!!!! Here is some history to share: In 2011 police raided the labyrinth and locked the doors for reasons unexplained. But once everyone had been evacuated, the doors were sealed…. Now some parts are reopened but some still not this is what I pity! Would love to see more!! There is some archaeological evidence of 350,000-years-old stone tools belonging to Homo erectus were reportedly located in the caves. The passages and chambers stretch out over 1,200 meters and are nearly 16 meters beneath the ancient castle district So historic and unique are the caves that they were recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987 as an outstanding urban landscape. The labyrinth has also served as a prison, and a torture chamber, and one of the more chilling stories involves the notorious Vlad Tepes, or Vlad the Impaler , later popularized as Dracula. I just loved taking photos here! amazing ambience with odd air… see it for yourself.

Guys, idk why some ppl didn’t like the atmosphere of this amazing maze, but it was awesome! First of all, we came there really spontaneously, we didn’t know what is going to happen here, and ofc we didn’t expect such a dark and horrify atmosphere. I’m a fan of vampires, so I really wanted to visit that place, cause it said, that this labyrinth was kind of a prison for Vlad Drakula. The whole labyrinth was really dark, with a little light, so take the phone here! Also, it’s really cool place to cool down, cause, yk, it’s a cave, so yeah But, to buy your ticket (approx. 13 euro without discount) - you need to pay only by cash. We have tried to give euros, but a worker hadn’t any change, So we vent to the nearest atm and change the currency Also, the labyrinth was quite random, some rooms were kinda empty and weird, it was pretty cool tho If u want to visit Vlad’s prison cell- u need to be a little bit brave, cause it’s located in the depth of the maze and there is absolutely no light, only small LED lighting and a lot of fog The place is really nice, especially for someone, who likes the darkness, vampires, history and spooky stuff
