The food may have been good, but the service was below any standards. First, we were moved to a smaller table, although the restaurant was almost empty, and we were 6 at a table for 8. Then we had to ask three times for menus in English, and the wine list remained in Hungarian. Then we had to look for the waiter after having waited to order for quite some time. Then, when asked about the time for preparing the food, I was scoulded that this was a restaurant and we were not the only clients. As we were on a schedule with the bus driver (a group trip), the food had to be taken in a doggie bag (for an elderly person with us), and the 10-year old child ate in 5 min. The beer also took about 20 min to be given. Then, instead of drinking it, I had to go to the cash machine and list for the waiter my share of the order. We had lunch here at a hot Sunday afternoon, due to the location of the restaurant the temperature is quite cool, and the decorations are nice. I had the pork tenderloin with gamey sauce and a glass of portugeiser wine for the main course and chocolate lava cake with Tokaj sweet white wine as a dessert. The pork was cooked really well, not too dry but not too pink, my only recommendatiom would be to use a bit less of their pickled vegetables as a garnish, it's quite nice, gives some crunch textrue to the dish but I think a bit less would be better. The lava cake with the rasberry icecream was perfect. The wines were served at a good temperature and together with the intended dish. English menu is available and the staff also speaks English.
