I visited Biang Reykjavík recently and was thoroughly impressed — highly recommend! The hand‑pulled biang‑biang noodles lived up to the hype: long, chewy and perfectly paired with Sichuan‑style spicy sauces that packed a punch without overpowering. The bold, savory flavors were balanced and genuinely crave‑worthy. The space itself feels fresh and exciting — located right on Tryggvagata, it’s a relaxed, inviting spot to dive into some serious noodle love. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, eager to share their passion for the cuisine. Compared to other Asian noodle joints in Reykjavík, Biang stands out for its focus on noodle craftsmanship and spicy Sichuan flavor. Great value, excellent portions, and an experience that feels both casual and curated. Whether you’re craving something fiery or just looking for something different from the usual Reykjavík dining, Biang Reykjavík is a must‑try — especially for noodle lovers

Had amazing Biang Biang noodles in Reykjavík - real comfort food. The noodles are thick, hand-pulled, and full of texture, and that homemade chili oil steals the show. The flavors are bold but still balanced, especially the spicy slow-cooked beef noodles - just the right amount of heat. The vegetarian dishes are super taste as well. The smashed cucumber salad and grilled eggplant prove that simple ingredients can taste incredible when done right. The place has a relaxed, cozy, very friendly staffs, quick service, and fair prices for Reykjavík. Generous portions, great food - definitely worth a visit! And don’t miss their matcha drinks - smooth, earthy, and a perfect way to cool down after the spice.

If you haven’t tried Biang Biang noodles yet – Biang Reykjavik is a must! 🍜 Located right in the heart of the city, this spot is a real gem. Handmade noodles, bold flavors, signature sauces – it’s a perfect balance of traditional Chinese roots with a modern street food vibe. Every dish feels like a piece of art – rich in aroma, texture and soul. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and food that’s seriously addictive. Bonus points for vegan options and real fruit-based matcha drinks. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic, exciting food! đŸ”„

EDIT:

Thanks for answer. I’m chef , and I think you are very wrong saying that for that price you can get only dessert , that is not true , I’m not sure where are you dining yourself. Just becusse it’s hand made , doesn’t mean that you cannot do proper prep before the opening, it’s basic of running a kitchen. It’s fine to pay 3 k or even more but not for such a small portion. We all left hungry and with drinks we pay 4,5 k , that is too much for still leaving restaurant hungry. Sorry but your arguments doesn’t work on me, as chef it’s simply overpriced food. But o wish you all the best 🙂

O wow , how sad experience. We went there after knowing its new place of reykiavik food map , not knowing that it will be this disappointing. One star for very friendly staff. Lady on cashier was helpful and very nice , also mid time of our food come and ask how is food so that’s nice . Foodwise , ( đŸ„Č) flavor was just ok but seriously 3k for extremely small chicken noodles ? How did you guys calculate this price ?? Can you maybe break it down for us what is the food cost of that ? Super small portion of noodles with littlebit of chicken, some spicy sos and a bit of greens on top , wow. I was asking if I can have extra pasta in my dish since portion is so small but manager said sure , you need to pay 2100osk extra so they can put one more portion of pasta đŸ€Ł ( pasta is mostly water , flour , salt ) but whole portion of new chicken is 2900 đŸ€ŁđŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł Side salat 1500 kr for 10 leaves of spinach , some salsa and nuts crumble . Next sad experience. Over all, food was ok in flavor but all 5 of us eating there was so dissatisfied seeing that we paid so much for such a little portion which barely reach half of our bowls. Cannot reccomend it. For people who are really hungry - consider go somewhere else or just order double portion which will eat your wallet.

I’m...
