Arrived in Reykjavik after a long bike packing trip through the highlands. We met Bjorn the bartender at the Einstok Bar in Reykjavik who was so incredible wonderful and helpful. Not only did he greet us with a warm smile and kindness we have come to recognize as typical of the Icelandic people here but he was such fun and created an atmosphere at the bar that made it easy to meet and have fun with anyone willing to engage. All good nice people from all over the world! He personally located a company we had been searching for and called the owner in that moment directly!!! We had been trying to reach the company but had trouble navigating the Icelandic language on the website to buy a certain Skata stool we fell in love with that happens to be made right here In Iceland. All four of the bartenders I met were some of the nicest people I have ever met in my entire life! They were attentive, kind, genuine, and were more than willing to help with any questions one may have had.
