After a long day we came here, straight from the airport. They are lightning quick and very friendly. The food is okay. The rice dish could've contained either less rice or more vegetables/meat, the PadThai was a bit too sweet and wet compared to how we are used to eat it, the baked fish and veggie dish was good! Nice crispy fish, with a separate red sauce and the veggie dish had a nice variety of crunchy vegetables. Both served with fresh rice. Love how they also offer shared dining. You order a whole bunch of food and get extra plates, so you can eat some of everything. They keep into account your allergies and diet wishes. My veggie dish contained an ingredient that I am allergic to. They forgot about it, apologized and super quickly prepared a new dish. One of the staff members said he received my "wrong" dish to take home. I was very pleased to hear that. 1. They actually prepared a new dish for me and 2. They don't waste food. Love, love, love! We recommend this place, also suitable for children to have dinner! And what was left, we were able to take...
Read moreRecommended by friends to try out this Thai restaurant, and very near the famous church in Reykjavík, Iceland. Seem popular in town. It was very prompt and friendly service. It's 100% authentic Thai food. We ordered Pad Thai with Prawn, Panang curry with chicken (seems watery and more like red curry than panang), taste is good. We opt for TomYum prawns, all accompanied by Brown Jasmine Rice. All tastes good. Plus Fried Rice to take away to our hotel. Bill came 13,850 KR Icelandic Kronas (around £86) without a drink. Portions are huge but it’s a dear price but it’s considering it’s iceland! All in all very enjoyable meal and seemed only Thai place in the town. Must try if you’re in...
Read moreThe Panang curry comes with rice and simple shredded vegetables. The curry has a lot of meat and the portion is large. The fried rice portion is also huge, enough for two people to share. Both are very delicious.
I originally thought the fried shrimp didn't come with a main dish, but it turns out they provide rice. The portion of fried shrimp is so large that we couldn't finish it and had to take some home haha
The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Highly recommended! If two people are very hungry, I suggest ordering one main dish each. Don't make the same mistake we did by accidentally ordering three portions—we were completely full and couldn't finish...
