Easily my favorite place in Reykjavík. It’s far more than a beautiful and diverse record store... it’s a cultural space that feels alive with music and creativity. The atmosphere is welcoming whether you’re a devoted music lover, a curious traveler, or just someone looking to experience an authentic slice of the city. The staff are passionate and generous with their knowledge, always happy to share recommendations and stories about Icelandic artists and the vibrant local scene.
What makes it stand out is the sense of community: you can browse records, listen to something new, enjoy live music or a great record selection and simply spend time in a space that values art and human connection. It’s a haven for creative types, but also completely open and inviting to all. A visit to Reykjavík wouldn’t be complete without stopping here. Highly...

My other, smaller, issue with the store is the fact that many genres such as hip-hop and jazz are only accessible by going down a quite steep spiral staircase and I can imagine it causing issues if you are trying to carry up a lot of vinyl you are purchasing.
Overall the atmosphere was nice and welcoming and everyone was friendly just the prices lead to me not ending up purchasing...

I asked one member of staff to recommend something to me and he took the time to find some suitable CDs for me. Finally he handed me one album of an Icelandic singer as well as one compilation which I bought each. I like the music. So, I can recommend to visit the...
