Big Cup Café Bangalore — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I would have given it 5 star until I saw the live making process of their pizza. The chef was cooking the pizza with bare hands without any hair cap. To my utter shock, they had their veg and non-veg ingredients in the se ace and the chef had put the chicken pieces , then without washing his hands or any other sanity check , he used the same hands to put the veg toppings. My parents and I being pure vegetarians were anguished looking at thisas we had few minutes ago ordered a veg pizza. I can't believe how can the owner and the management of seemingly a reputed cafe be so irresponsible. This incident happened at the flagship cafe at Coorg.

I don't know how seriously you take these reviews and with no evil intentions had I written the review. Even we really liked the food and the ambience as well but all that feel good thing was shattered in a moment when I saw how the pizza was being prepared. I think you(owner) were there too and if things are happening at your presence in your flagship cafe, I can't be really assured of how the things are being done at other places so it felt justified to tag other cafes too so as to bring this to your...

Upsides: Really nice location (in a happening part of New Bel Road), the interiors are quite nice with a partially open roof, and the coffee is pretty good.

Downsides: The biggest is related to smoking. There are large signs which say "Smoking here is an offense", which makes you think it's a non-smoking zone. But then customers blissfully smoke in a corner. When I mentioned this to a staff, he straightaway said "if we don't allow smoking, we are not getting customers. And they are only smoking in a corner". They don't care about the fact that the tobacco smoke spreads everywhere (red flag for folks with breathing issues), and they could have easily created a separate smoking zone.
