This store has spoiled our experience of crafted ice cream not once but twice. A month before we had visited for takeaway where the SM was just sitting in the cash counter and giving orders to the new staff to handle the order which was messed up. We had to explain him the importance of training the staff and not just delegating. He acknowledged and promised for better service on our next visit. But today's visit was nothing short of a disaster, he was continuing to do the same delegating job and when questioned on missing to prepare the order he blamed the team instead of owning the mistake, and was just arguing and showing his arrogance of being a senior in the system. Even after that he gave us some other order instead of ours. This place is not worth the money and it's best to avoid such irresponsible and worst customer oriented outlet. AC's were also not working in the customer area. KINDLY AVOID VISITING THIS STORE. Will be happy to talk to a senior to give them suggestions for improving customer experience, if at all they are interested in listening...
Read moreRight on Bell road, Cream Stone is a nice place to have a late night dessert after the dinner or otherwise as well. They have this ultra cold surface/ Pan on which they toss, mix and beat the ingredients to make your cup of ice cream right in front of you. It is quite an attraction among children (even for adults) as the process is loud and attracts your attention. However it could irritate few people as well. The staff is polite and easy. They also have a seating arrangements which is very unlikely for the ice cream parlours but it is nice. Parking is on the main road, no valet parking. Quality and presentation of ice creams / ingredients is great but doesn't justify mediocre taste hence 3 stars. Price point is also not justified considering taste. I ordered Nutella brownie ice cream but the base ice cream overtook the flavour of Nutella and brownie. Even the texture of brownie was not present because of the over beating it on the cold pan....
Read morePathetic quantity and way too overrated. You could easily just go to the Corner House or Polar Bear nearby and get double the worth of your money that you would have spent at Cream Stone.
Here was what was served to us -
Waffle cones (their so called signature) - Missing Fudge in ferrero rocher ice cream - missing. (they basically placed a ferrero rocher on top of a scoop of chocolate ice cream and charged 185 for it. Could have just as well made it at home bleh) 5 constituents mentioned in menu, not more than 2 in the cup. Consider the rates - scoop of coffee ice cream and a bit of fudge = 95 bucks. Scoop of chocolate ice cream with a ferrero rocher = 185 bucks. Not cool.
Hyderabad franchise is pretty awesome, this one... I'd say just build something else in its place. As an eatery, it's a waste of space.
But I would like to thank them on one account - my girlfriend and I finally agree on one thing - this...
