Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Cafe Coffee Day at HSR Layout is pretty much what you’d expect from a regular CCD outlet. Nothing too fancy, nothing disappointing — just a reliable, no-nonsense spot to grab a coffee, sit for a while, or catch up with a friend.

The vibe is familiar and comfortable. It’s clean, the seating is decent, and they’ve got a nice mix of indoor and outdoor-ish tables. Perfect if you just want a quiet corner with your laptop or a chilled-out conversation.

Tried their regular cappuccino and a veg sandwich — both were exactly how they usually are at CCD. The coffee was nice and strong, and the sandwich was fresh and warm. Not mind-blowing, but it hits the spot when you’re craving something simple and quick.

The staff were polite and quick with the orders. Service was smooth, even though the place had a decent crowd when I went.

Price-wise, it’s the usual CCD rates — a bit on the higher side for what you get, but you’re mostly paying for the brand and the space to sit around without being rushed.

However it is pathetic to see them failing to enforce the rules.... There is a board which states it is a "No Smoking" zone.... But they say they cannot enforce the same on the Customers... Fail to understand why they cannot as the Customers to stop smoking ? Surely... Smoking in Public Places is banned... which does not mean Smoking in open air is allowed.... Someone please educate the staff about this...

Health of other Customers are being put at risk by this outlet just so that they can increase their revenue ???

Such cheap tactics for income generation at the cost of failing to enforce the rules is a shameful act by this outlet.

Hope Coffee Day Global takes note of this... There is no point in talking about CSR when their own outlets are aiding in such...

Absolutely disgusted with my experience. I ordered a cappuccino, first of all I was asked whether I want it "strong" Or "light". Never been posed with that question at any cafe. A cappuccino comes with two shots of espresso and that's what I wanted. I replied with strong because I thought they slightly vary the quantity accordingly. The woman at the counter added an extra shot to my bill. I paid jt thinking it will do, but when my coffee was given to me, it was an absolute regular cappuccino. I don't know if they are trained to fool and cheat customers this way. Would she have given me a single shot cappuccino otherwise? Then what's the difference between a latte and a capp? I would have asked her then and there if I wasn't busy between work and meetings. But I'm definitely never visiting another cafe from this chain again. They are using different tactics to...
