At Pulimunchi you are greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance.
The food is a coastal seafood lover’s dream. Whether you’re craving fresh Anjal, Pomfret, silverfish, Kane, succulent crab or perfectly done prawns, they have it all. The attention to detail in every dish is evident, and the flavors are nothing short of exceptional.
Pulimunchi prides itself on sourcing the highest-quality seafood. The Fish, prawn and crab had a freshness which you usually find only on the Mangalore Coast. The menu offers a wide range of Coastal options.
We ordered the Koliwada prawns, which were fresh and juicy with a crisp and perfectly spiced exterior. The stuffed crab was a unique dish with fresh crabmeat and a delicious masala, as was the Anjal uppumanchi (seer fish) coated in green masala, wrapped in a banana leaf and cooked to perfection.
Their spicy and silky seer fish curry bursting with flavor served with hot boiled rice was the grand finale to this amazing meal.
The staff at Pulimunchi are attentive and knowledgeable. They have a wide choice of cocktails, beers, wines and other beverages and a well apppointed, chilled out Bar called Blotto adjoining the restaurant, which also has outdoor seating.
The restaurant’s Tulunadu heritage inspired decor is pleasing and cozy.
Their dedication to quality and passion for seafood truly shines through. They also have a decent selection of Chinese and North Indian dishes as well.
Whether you’re a seafood aficionado or just looking for a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend Pulimunchi. It’s a gem that captures the essence of Karnataka coastal cuisine and leaves you craving for more.

Read moreSo Pulimunchi is one of the best hidden treasures of Bangalore which have been catering to authentic mangalorean cuisine for the past 12 years. Come 2023, they have moved to a new location above Nature's Basket in sadashiv nagar itself and introduced a plethora of amazing multicuisines to an already existing fantastic menu. We decided to explore the new menu and started by trying their mutton paya soup which was one of the best that i have had and this has made it to my list of frequent cravings already. Next we had the Chicken nachos.Their Nacho chips are made in house and are a delight. Next we decided to try the tandoor menu and ordered murg achari tikka and paneer malai tikka which gave an authentic experience of the north which is a rare find here in Bangalore. There was a recommendation by the owners to try birds nest from the Chinese menu and I am so glad to say that it was one of the best starters i have had in a long time. Sad to say i was already full but my greed got the better of me and we just had to end it with a dessert. Of course, the tender coconut souffle is a must here since it's their signature dessert and hasn't disappointed us even after so many years. A new addition to their dessert menu was the fried ice cream and i dare say, it was perfection! The right balance of the hot crispy crust and the cold ice cream is a fantastic way to end this spectacular food journey. Needless to say,I am excited to visit them soon and try the rest of the new menu which has been introduced and i highly recommend Pulimunchi for satisfying your craving for...
