Read moreI recently visited a restaurant with stellar reviews, so my expectations were higher than usual. It's a home turned into a restaurant, which anyone would enjoy. But the good things kind of ended there. The cushioned seats were filthy, and the servers didn't seem to care. I had to ask for a seat change, and they just covered the dirty cushion.
Now, onto the food. I ordered a bacon egg sandwich, which is a basic deli staple, but they messed it up. The sandwich had tomato in it—who wants egg and tomato together? For an expensive sandwich, they could have included two eggs, but they cheaped out. One egg didn’t even cover the whole sandwich (and the bread wasn’t that big). There was only half a strip of bacon, and they smeared some sauce on the bread, making it wet. It’s a basic and simple bacon egg and cheese sandwich, a comfort food, and they dropped the ball.
Next, the pizza had some weird sauce that was so salty it ruined the whole thing. The chicken momos were drenched in chili sauce, again too much sauce. They need to reset their palate; everything was too salty. The only good thing we had was the pancake with Nutella.
We also ordered a Caesar salad, and it was a joke—it had a vinaigrette-based dressing instead of Caesar dressing, which we didn't ask for.
I would request the owner to look into...
Read moreThe restaurant is on double road, Indiranagar. Although the restaurant doesn't have parking but there is enough space on both sides of road to park your four wheeler.
The ambience is nice and has seating arrangement both outside and inside. We side outside which is nice. The smell of cigarette smokes were a bit of a discomfort.
We ordered two English Breakfast(one with scrambled eggs and other with masala omelette) but later we were told that chicken sausage isn't available. We had to change the order to Eggy Brekkie (eggs to order, veggies, toast, hash brown, baked beans) which is almost same thing as English Breakfast. Both scrambled eggs and masala omelette were average. Toast were crisp but a bit hard. Espresso and Americano were good. Herbed garlic bread were good too. I think they are under staffed a bit. While sitting in outer seating area, I felt that the waiters could have been more attentive. While having breakfast, we wanted to ask for water and salt-pepper, but we could not see the waiter. We have a wait 5 minutes before they came in outside seating area. Although zomato provides a feature of contactless dining(i.e. Place dine in order via zomato app), but that wasn't working when we visited. The place is economic. Everything seems to be priced slightly cheaper than average. So...
