In a city known for its noise, its traffic, its people running from one corner to the other, its pubs and being the emblem of the millennial & Gen-Z lifestyle, come to Copper + Cloves. You will find the peace and zen without traveling all the way to Himalayas. It's tucked in a small nook on 9th A Main road. You will be forced to walk in and explore as soon as you see the gate. Remember, this isn't your typical restaurant. This is a place to relax. Cut off from the hectic pace. Find your corner, find your little table. Go through the menu, and ask yourself "What if I could have a bit of all of it?" From soothing drinks to filling smoothies, from lip-smacking desserts to truly healthy bowls, they have everything. Yup, the food will take some time to reach you. Why? Because they make everything fresh. And once in a while, one of the core members of C+C will surprise you by waiting on you. It is incredible how Sarah and Yoshitha pay details to every client. Oh you have a pet? Sure bring them along. While their recent indoor sitting is gorgeous, it is their outdoor sitting that you just don't want to miss. C+C should be C+C+C+C - Copper + Cloves + Connect + Calm. The serenity in this space is the serendipity you have been seeking - so calm that either you will connect with your inner self or with some random person who shares your interest in great, plant-based food, and craves moments of solitude. No other place across Bangalore can give you this experience. If you've loved those tiny boutique cafes in Europe, C+C will give you that experience (and those awesome selfies) right here in Indiranagar. Hopefully, you will also become a regular weekend visitor to this place after your...
Read moreThis cafe has been on our bucket list for a long time, so I was super excited to finally visit.
Here’s my detailed review:
Ambience – 5/5 It’s a cosy cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. You can also browse and shop thrift clothes and books, which adds a nice touch to the experience.
Food – 3/5 It’s a vegan cafe that offers a healthy menu which is great to see. However, I was quite disappointed with the portion sizes compared to the price. They should definitely increase the quantity a bit. The taste was good though.
Service – 2/5 The main reason we’d never visit this cafe again is because of the service. When we entered, the experience was confusing no one approached us, no waitstaff gave any directions or seating help. The place looked full & it took us a good 5–10 mins to find a seat. Now for the disappointing part: we placed our order - beetroot hummus at around 7:35 PM. The cafe closes at 8, so the waiter asked us to order quickly, which we did. But they failed to inform us that the carrot salad which was part of the dish wasn’t available. It was only after we asked about it that they brought out the chef, who explained that they didn’t serve it because it wasn’t fresh.
While we appreciate that they compensated with a free dessert, it didn’t help since we don’t eat sugar. Overall, that experience left a bad impression & unfortunately, it’s not a place we’d choose to...

I wasn’t particularly inclined towards a fully vegan menu, but decided to give Copper+Cloves in Indiranagar a try. The interiors were cozy and we were happy to find a few empty tables, settling into the inner room. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there.
Despite having plenty of staff around, service was painfully slow. It took nearly 20 minutes just for someone to take our order, and throughout the meal, the service felt disorganized and inattentive. We managed to keep ourselves occupied with their lovely book collection, but the lack of coordination really stood out.
As for the food — it was a mixed bag. The hummus with roasted roots and seeds was quite nice and balanced. My partner enjoyed the jackfruit tacos, but I couldn’t get used to the flavor. I had high expectations from the cinnamon French toast, but it lacked the fluffiness and was overloaded with fruits — felt more like a fruit platter on toast. The cacao shake was bitter to the point of being unpleasant, and even when remade, it didn’t really improve much. Might be a personal preference, but I found the food lacking in depth and flavor overall.
Also found it slightly overpriced for the experience. Glad I tried it once, but I don’t see...
