Third Wave Coffee in Sanjaynagar has quickly become my favorite spot in Bangalore, and for good reason! Every visit leaves me more impressed than the last, and I simply can't get enough of their delicious offerings.
First and foremost, let's talk about the star of the show - the Chilly Cheese Toast. Believe me when I say, this dish is an absolute must-try! The perfect combination of gooey cheese and just the right amount of spice makes it an unforgettable treat for your taste buds. I find myself craving it constantly and have even brought friends along just to share in the experience.
Of course, the coffee here is also top-notch. Whether you're a fan of classic espresso drinks or prefer something a bit more adventurous, they've got you covered. Each cup is expertly crafted, and you can taste the passion and dedication that goes into every sip.
Beyond the food and drinks, the ambiance at Third Wave Coffee is unbeatable. It's the kind of place where you can truly unwind and escape from the stresses of daily life. Read moreI’ve been to many Third Wave outlets in the city. But something about this particular outlet makes it special. May be it’s the locality and the calmness associated with it that gives it extra brownie points.
The coffee was good as usual. There are many third waves in the city where the staff barely gets any time to interact with the customers. But here it was a different story altogether. I’ve had one such experience here wherein Vishnu and Sharanjith offered me and my friend a coffee tasting session. They patiently ran us through the process of making a siphon black coffee - starting from prepping the flask, boiling measured amount of water (275ml) and blending it with calculated amount (22g) of a specific ground roast beans.
Not only did I get to enjoy another coffee but also got a short throwback at the history of the process. I couldn’t help but ask why they were offering tasting sessions to the customers so rigorously. We were told that it’s their motto to educate the masses about the history, processes and consumption of coffee - how to smell, taste and judge. A session well done. Yesterday’s tasting session was clearly a...
Read moreThis has been one of the most memorable experience at Third Wave Coffee. I have visited few other branches, but this one won my heart :)
The Coffee, food and the ambience was on point as usual. We tried a few new coffees and all of them were delicious. Especially the Orange zest Mocha (all of the coffees with oat milk :) )
It is also one of the only places with vegan coffe options.
The reason this visit was the most memorable: Just out of curiosity, i asked about the coffee blends that they had, and Subhrajit was very kind enough to tell us all about the coffe and where it is sourced from etc. He was very informed on this topic and knew what he was talking about. He also told us the story of Origin of coffee and coffee in India. There is a neon sign which says "Follow the dancing goats"; He told us the story behind it :) If you go there, do ask them about the story behind it.
All in all it was a whole experience, drinking coffee and learning more about the coffee they serve and history of coffee. A pleasant...
