Hotel Moon Light — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Hello Everyone, I recently visited Hotel Moonlight in Malleswaram, right next to KC General Hospital, and it brought back so many childhood memories. My father used to take me here often, and even today their ghee rice remains one of my absolute favorites.

This time, I tried their grilled chicken, and it turned out to be one of the best I’ve had in Bengaluru. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor — the extra masala toppings added just the right spicy kick. We also ordered Kerala parotta with chilli chicken, and I must say the chilli chicken stood out with a unique taste that’s very different from the usual Indo-Chinese style. It may not suit everyone, but if you enjoy bold flavors, it’s definitely worth a try. The only downside was the side dish served with the parotta, which could have been better.

The restaurant has ample seating space, making it comfortable for families as well. Overall, a must-visit spot if you love grilled chicken.

Earlier they used to provide best quality and tasty food. But now I think they have changed the staff so no taste at all. Presently Food Quality and Quantity is Very Less and Price is expensive. Only Bike Parking available besides Road.

I was taking parcel "Grilled Chicken" and "Ghee Rice", because taste was too good. Since 3 months I stopped visiting to your restaurant for below reasons: Grilled Chicken is not tasty anymore. Ghee Rice losts it's Ghee flavour. Customer negligence by staff.

You said staff not changed for kitchen, then please let us know why food quality and taste changed? I observed this for thrice.

I'm not complaining, I'm saying that I was a regular customer. I stopped visiting your restaurant after I faced above problem for 3 times.

We give money to Quality and Taste, when both are not there then what is the point in speaking to your management?

Isn't this YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO SPEAK WITH YOUR MANAGEMENT on...

For the prices, location and the fast service this hotel is good and is popular for that reason. Lack of better non-vegetarian hotels nearby has helped this one to prosper. Ambience is okay. No plush or luxurious interiors but passable. Hotel is lean and we'll maintained. Seems like it has been in existence since many years or decades. Kitchen is clean and food quality is great. No alcohol. Halal meat is available. Chapati orders are slow. Tandoori is faster. 250Rs for a full tandoori chicken. Families do come rarely, but parcel orders are plenty. Good for groups.
