Starting off with the all-important water, yeah, it's said that even if the most vicious person is in need of water, one has to provide it without a thought. But, unfortunately not a glass of water is offered to the customers when they get seated. Bottled water is kept on every table, by default, maybe promoting it as part of additional sales and profit. Moving ahead with the food, without a doubt I'd say it's way too good when compared to other restaurants where the food is laced with coloring agents, tasting powder, low grade oils & raw materials. Even after eating heavy out here, one would feel quite light. The watery mint chutney with cucumbers and onions is like the next level, I'd prefer only that without any gravy if given an option. This is it, maybe one should give a visit and experience it first hand so as to get a better picture of it on a whole.
PS: If the hotel management happens to read this review, kindly provide hygienic drinking water for the customers (not the bottled mineral water) without charging coz it's the most basic etiquette to be followed as humans. Read moreThis restaurant has apparently has been there for over a decade! It's located in 9th cross near 90E route, Malleshwaram.
Ambiance: -Gives a school/college canteen like vibe. -Restaurant can accommodate up to 40 people.
Service: -Gets very crowded on weekends after 7.30 P.M. -Takes around 10-15 minutes to get the ordered food.
Food: -Protein Chapati: Soft, fluffy, non-oily chapatis that get over in no time.-Veg soup: Thick and bland. Stay away from this one! -Veg Kadai: The best gravy I have had here full of good amount of vegetables. We asked the waiter to make it spicier:) -Stuffed Capsicum gravy: Capsicums stuffed with potatoes and served in a green gravy. Not bad. -Tomato Rice: Tasted bland but could complete it as the rice quality served here isn't rubbery at all. -Pudina/mint rice: This too was a little bland for my taste buds, not bad. -Salt lassi and rose lassi: Filling but I didn't like the taste. -Badam Milkshake: It's watery unlike what I have had at other eateries. Nonetheless I liked it as it had almond pieces in it. I loved the cucumber-onion salad topped with green chutney provided as a side dish with Chapatis.
Must try: Protein...
