Overrated and overhyped by Kripal Amanna’s visit !

Let’s begin the disappointment journey!

Even though restaurant timing says 12pm first meal was served around 1pm. We were one of the first customers and had to wait almost 45mins. Irony is nobody even cared to ask or inform about the delay. When asked kept on saying 15mins

Restaurant - can not really call it restaurant it is kind of tiffin room.

Before getting to food items, probably it is better to avoid being first few customers. Fishes served were clearly not fresh catch and refrigerated ones. Assuming previous day stock is cleared before fresh stock is started.

Food items tried and 2cents for the same

Clams/marwai sukka - let’s start with the best. I would say lip smacking. I wouldn’t mind if the the entire meal was just this. Too good and masala was amazing.

Neer dosa - I have no idea 😀 marwai sukka had taken full control here.

Bangda tawa - fish was refrigerated long before it hit the plate and definitely not fresh catch. It had no juices left and smelled like dry fish

Anjal tawa - same goes here as well. Only cost wise it was comparatively better.

Chicken meals - don’t ever try this. Curry is basically fish curry to which marinated chicken was added. Weird combination

Visited this place after watching Kripal's Vlog & no doubt after his visit this place has become super hit & they're not able to manage the crowd. Below are my key observation & takes after dinning in this hotel. Cons Tiny little eatery & not good for large crowd (Max 4 per family) Only 2W parking available in that small lane. Long wait & there's no token / names taken to make table arrangements in order. Special treatment/ quick service,if your from coastal side. You'll get neer dose when order is closed for other customers. Unhygiene - Cleaner come supplier - He cleans the table, plates and supplies food, onion cucumber salad & fish curry without washing hands that's very crucial & important post covid. Complained to person incharge, but he was least bothered as he himself was not able to manage that huge crowd. Definetly will think twice to revisit this place again. Pros Food taste is good Try Sea food only. Price & bill may vary as per your placed order ( Check the price before placing the order )

Finally they need to improve mainly on Hygiene, managing crowd & Treat all...

While recently searching for places to order online came across Karavali Lunch Home. Karavali Lunch Home is a small eatery which I've passed by many times without realizing. I was little skeptical to order but went ahead with Seer Tava Fry, Bangde Tava Fry, Kori Rotti and Chicken Biryani.

Seer Fish is my regular order at any of the seafood places. This one didn't let me down either. We reheated it a little and added extra spices. Bangde was tricker to eat, with all those small bones we had to careful before taking a bite. Chicken Biryani doesn't particularly belong to the coastal region, but how can I resist? Light flavors and packed with chicken pieces, a meal isn't a meal without biryani! A glass of rasam at the end and we were done for the day.

The bill came upto ₹500 odd. Definitely going to reorder or visit the outlet soon! Full on...
