Cockroach Found in Food & Unprofessional Staff Behavior
An absolutely horrifying and disgusting experience we had at your restaurant. We were a group of six people, including a small child, who came to dine at your establishment expecting hygienic vegetarian food. Instead, what we were served was an utter health hazard a cockroach in your so-called “chef special paneer” priced at over ₹600 and this is what we get for such an inflated price?
To make matters worse, when we called the staff, they smirked and laughed, treating the issue as if it were a joke. When we insisted on speaking with the manager, his response was shockingly unprofessional he said, “Itna ho jata hai madam”, essentially implying that it's normal to find insects in your food. The audacity and insensitivity of that response are unacceptable.
Even more appalling, every staff member from the waiter to the manager to the billing desk downplayed the incident, all saying, “It happens sometimes.” This is not just unhygienic it is dangerously negligent and unethical.
Your menu boasts of being featured on Netflix and Curly Tales, but clearly, those are nothing more than paid and misleading promotions. The reality of your establishment is far from what you claim unhygienic, unsafe, and utterly careless.
We did not visit your restaurant to be exposed to health risks and such disgraceful customer service. We came to enjoy a vegetarian meal, not leave with the fear of food poisoning. Your team’s behavior was insulting and dismissive, and it shows a complete lack of accountability or concern for customer well-being.
We demand an official apology, and a full explanation of how such a serious hygiene issue was allowed to occur. Rest assured, if this is not addressed appropriately, we will be escalating this matter to health authorities and sharing our experience publicly so others are warned.

Read moreHad worst experience, had order through swiggy, after seeing the items in the Thali but guess what, more than three 3 items were missing, you can look at the pictures and menu and compare (zeera rice was missing instead they sent stale veg pulav which l dont like so specifically ordered zeera rice one and jamoon was missing they had send sent some 2 spoons of sweet curd instead, kheera salad was missing and papad). I have paid 460/- for this thali (a avg person spends 500 for 3 times meal) for a such expensive thali and they dont even care to check the items properly, if they dint have any items in stock they should call the customer back and inform about it. When I raised a query on Swiggy they said restaurant wont refund on this instance without any explanation or rationale. I reached out to restaurant saying items were missing and they said ok sorry will refund but then they did not. They are like pulav is better than zeera rice so u should be ok there, Its not about what they give its about what I order and the same I should get. I have dropped n number of emails to swiggy but all they say is like a robot “we cannot provide refund in this instance without any rationale)
Both Swiggy and Kake di hatti have taken their users for granted coz, u cant really review them in apps when u review on food you wont see that in apps under the restaurant it only displays some rating (not reviews) as non clicking icon( so what is the credibility of it).
Hence came here and reviewing them. Food may be good but not customer value...

From the moment I stepped in, the warm ambiance and inviting decor set the tone for a delightful meal. Now, let's talk about the food. For vegetarian, who are always on the lookout for restaurants that offer a diverse and delicious menu, and Kake Di Hatti exceeded that expectations. The range of vegetarian options was impressive, and each dish was bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. From their mouthwatering paneer dishes to their aromatic dal and king size nan’s, every bite was a true delight.
What truly sets Kake Di Hatti apart, however, is their commitment to authenticity. The flavors transported me to the streets of Punjab, and I could taste the love and passion that went into each dish. It's clear that the chefs take great pride in their craft, and it shines through in every mouthful.
