While Kake Di Hatti Pure Veg has a charming ambiance and friendly staff, the food did not entirely live up to the price point. There are several aspects where the dining experience fell short:
Firstly, the portion sizes were relatively small considering the high prices. For the amount charged, one would expect more generous servings. It was a bit disappointing to receive portions that felt insufficient, especially for dishes like the Paneer Butter Masala and Dal Makhani.
Secondly, the taste of some dishes was underwhelming. The Paneer Butter Masala, for instance, lacked the robust flavors and rich, creamy texture that I anticipated. Similarly, the Dal Makhani was somewhat bland and did not have the depth of flavor expected from a well-prepared Indian dish. Given the prices, the flavor profile should be more pronounced and satisfying.
The presentation of the dishes was quite basic and didn't reflect the premium prices. A little more effort in presentation could significantly enhance the overall dining experience. Simple garnishes and better plating techniques could make a big difference.
Additionally, the freshness of the food was a concern. A couple of items seemed less than fresh, which was disappointing. For example, the naan was slightly chewy and not as soft and fresh as it should be. Freshness is a key aspect of any dining experience, especially at higher price points.
Overall, the experience felt a bit overpriced considering the quality and taste of the food. There are other restaurants offering similar dishes at a more reasonable price with better taste and portion sizes. While the service and ambiance were commendable, the food needs to match up to the pricing for a truly satisfying...
Read moreKake Di Hatti is located at a prime spot on 100 Feet Road in Indiranagar, so it’s quite easy to find. I visited in the evening and had made a reservation through the District app since I was getting a discount. We just went for a light snacking session.
Ambience: The ambience is quite good — the lighting and décor give it an aesthetic and cozy vibe. It’s not overly fancy or glamorous, but definitely pleasant and comfortable to sit and talk.
Food: We ordered Honey Chilli Potato, Chilli Garlic Fried Rice, Veg Manchurian Gravy, and a 7Up.
The Honey Chilli Potato tasted good with the right balance of sweetness and spice, though the crispiness didn’t hold up and it turned soggy soon after serving.
The Chilli Garlic Fried Rice was disappointing — more than half of the rice seemed undercooked, which affected the overall taste.
The Veg Manchurian Gravy was average. The menu mentioned four Manchurian balls, but Mr. Roshan, who served us, was very kind and brought us a full bowl with six balls. His attention and polite behavior really stood out — kudos to him!
Service: Service was quick and courteous, thanks especially to Mr. Roshan. However, the biggest drawback was that many items on the menu were unavailable — we first wanted to order Chilli Garlic Noodles and Chole Bhature, but both were not available, which was quite disappointing.
Price: We were two people, and the total bill came to around ₹1200. Considering the quality of food, it didn’t feel worth the price.
Overall: Good ambience and service, but food quality and menu availability need serious improvement. With better consistency and attention to their core dishes, this place could be...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Kake Di Hatti, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! I tried their Kake Thali, and it was a treat for the taste buds. The thali included a variety of flavorful dishes such as Tandoori Dal Makhani, tangy Paneer Butter Masala, Amritsari Naan, Dhuandaar Naan, Veg Pulao, and more. Each item was prepared to perfection, with authentic flavors and a great balance of spices. The roasted papad, fresh salad, and chutney added a delightful crunch and tanginess to the meal.
The ambience of the restaurant was modern yet cozy, with an elegant setup that offered a comfortable and relaxed dining experience. The large windows allowed for natural light and a serene view, creating a perfect setting to enjoy the meal. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured that everything was served promptly.
Overall, the combination of delicious food, excellent service, and an inviting atmosphere made this visit a memorable one. If you’re looking for a wholesome and authentic North Indian meal, Kake Di Hatti is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more items from their menu! Highly recommended for food enthusiasts. Best thing it's completely vegetarian plus one...
