21st Amendment – A contemporary gastro pub in Indiranagar.
As we all know 21st Amendment is “The transportation or importation into any State, Territory, or possession of the United States for delivery or use therein of intoxicating liquors for THE UNITED STATES”.
And if such a quirky name was chosen for a gastro pub. What would you expect from them? And how different is this one?
Yes 21st Amendment is an open roof top space which would be soon a beacon for superlative food and cutting-edge bar.
They offer creative food (well presented one) along with incredible variants in cocktails.
Ambiance – 5/5 (Impressive)
They have stick to simple décor which is a fine blend of chic classic café theme at the entrance and a mighty open bar overlooking the entire area with star lights. It also has a tiny balcony space that can be used for private parties.
Seating options are quite comfortable for groups as they have western styled premises with long bar stools and wooden tables amidst bright lighting.
It offers great music in a laid back ambience. If you are a music lover of any sort, be here.
Drinks (Cocktails) -4/5
Agave Blazer – a fine blend of whiskey cinnamon dipped in honey flamed agave , yet they set the drink on fire and serve it across. Its my sure shot recco in here.
Freedom – A blend of whiskey with black tea a pinch of basil and lemonade , refreshing one .
Red wine sangria – Classic which fares well
This is one area where in they could slightly raise the bar. They are good but can still be the best.
Food/ Cuisine – 5/5 (mind-blowing presentation of each dish which is scrumptious)
The cuisine of 21st Amendment is a mix of Continental, Indian and Some Local Namma Bengaluru favorites, There’s a long list of items that you can seek. Some noteworthy Local favorite and European dishes too included in their menu.

Read more21st Amendment is the new Gastropub in town that ticks all the boxes. The ambience is a mix of industrial & modern with a little bit of quirk.
On a cool weekday evening a bunch of us visited this wonderful rooftop pub, bang on Indra Nagar 100 Feet Road.
While we settled diem with the drinks and a few starters on the way, we were offered their signature Virginia Crema De La Amandine zuppa, a nice bowl of roasted pumpkin creme soup, with some delicious almond chive creme purée & veggies. I absolutely loved the soup, it was perfection in a bowl. It is a must have, irrespective of whether you are here just for a few drinks or for an elaborate meal.
I had the Wonder Law from their Welcome To Namma Bangalore cocktails with quirky names of Bangalore icons, price just at 279. Wonder Law is a deliciously strong Whisky cocktail infused with popcorn syrup & smoked cheese, it was quiet strong and potent but only a mild flavour of popcorn.
Well, we all know An apple a day keeps the doctor doc away, here it was the name of a delicious fresh crispy apple salad. It was a wonderful mix of green apple & Fiji apples tossed with some rocket leaves, and a honey mustard dressing, that beautifully cut through the sweetness of the apples.
The next was a super crispy Paneer Ghattari, a beautiful bars of paneer, crumb coated & deep fried, served on a bed of spicy tawa Masala. This was absolutely delicious, a must try here, comes highly recommended.
For mains we ordered two & decided to share along with a portion of Ministry of kulcha, which was assorted mini Indian breads with stuffing.
The first main we had was Paneer - Qasar - E - Pukhthan, which was a wonderful stuffed paneer steak, bathing in a rich pista laced gravy. The gravy was absolutely delicious & super yumm, just loved it so much, I almost finished it off with the accompanied breads.
The second main was a Singapore Pepper Paneer, absolutely gorgeous dish loved it, but loved the other main more than anything.
For desserts we loved both the decadent Bulgarian Coconut Soufflé and 007 & half Local Bond.
The coconut soufflé was very airy & light, tastefully some subdued coconut flavours with a rich soft coconut Barfi layer in the boot, absolutely celebrating the complex flavours of the coconut with some bling.
The 007 & Half Local Bond was a delicious Raggi Mudde Brownie with some deep fried Neer dose cigars stuffed with Gajar Halwa, an amalgamation of global cuisine with some delicious Indian fusion that I absolutely loved & cherished.
I know this place is new, they also had another party that booked the entire place, however service was impeccably maintained, Alvin took care of all our needs and kept us engaged.
I would come back to this place just for the delicious food they serve, and with such a wide menu, am gonna be coming here very...
Read moreThis rooftop place at 100 feet Indra Nagar has has cool vibes and delicious food and drinks. The drinks menu here is impressive with some signature cocktails like the ‘Kerala Art’ and my current favorite, the ‘Spring Flower’. The former is a gin based cocktail while the latter vodka based. Both cocktails are splendid. Apart from these you will find the regular ones like the Tequila sunrise and the Daiquiris but each cocktail has a lovely concoction and a delightful new ingredient that makes it refreshingly new ! The food is really good too. We loved the ‘Cambodian Seafood Broth’ here! With the sea food cooked to perfection and served in a tomato rich broth with the right amount of spices. The bacon wrapped chicken tikka is also a nicely executed concept. The pork and fish starters are perfect to be had with the cocktails here. The ‘Deoxitized water melon salad’ with the feta quenelles and raspberry vinaigrette is another yummy item from the menu that is not to be missed. Main course has a sumptuous spread too with some pretty good options from both vegetarian and non vegetarian fare. Among other things, the tender coconut cheesecake is a perfect dessert to finish your meal. The rooftop setting is partially covered with good ambience for both lunch as well as evenings with your friends. The two seater tables on the slightly raised deck overlooking the sky are a delightful place to enjoy a romantic evening with bae too. Good place for having a lunch date or lunch with your co workers. They have different seating options available. We were told that they are in the process of expanding and will soon have a covered space downstairs complete with a dance floor. Definitely a cool place to...
