I recently visited Klava, located in Rex Forum Walk, for a quick dessert stop. The café has a warm and inviting setup that immediately draws you in, especially if you’re someone with a sweet tooth like me. I decided to try two desserts from their menu — the much-raved San Sebastian Cheesecake (also listed as Gateau Cheesecake) and their Milk Cake with a Biscoff twist.
The Milk Cake dessert turned out to be the highlight of my visit. It was rich, creamy, and indulgent with just the right amount of sweetness. The Biscoff topping added a lovely caramel crunch, which beautifully contrasted the soft and milky base. It felt nostalgic yet elevated — a dessert I would definitely return for.
On the other hand, the San Sebastian Cheesecake was decent but didn’t quite live up to the hype. It lacked the burnt caramel depth and creamy richness that I’ve enjoyed in better versions elsewhere. It wasn’t bad by any means, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression either.
Service at Klava was prompt and friendly. The staff were more than happy to answer questions and offered recommendations with a smile, which added to the overall pleasant experience.
In summary, Klava is a great little spot for dessert lovers — warm service, inviting ambiance, and at least one dessert that I’d confidently recommend. I’ll be returning to try more from their menu, especially anything with their delicious...
Read moreWent with friends and family to this place. I was very excited initially for the Turkish coffee however it was short lived.
When I asked them for the Turkish coffee, the say they will make in the kitchen and I would not be able to see it live(it is a treat to watch the Turkish coffee getting brewed on sand in front of you). I still ordered the coffee and got it in a regular coffee cup. When I asked the girl for the Turkish cup, she told me that they just have 2 cups which are already in use and they would not be able to serve the coffee in the Turkish cup.( And this is supposed to be a Turkish Patisserie which is serving Turkish coffee 😂😂😂😂😂)
While paying the bill, when I gave this feedback to the cashier and the serving lady, they were least interested to hear what the customer had to say.
I would not recommend the place if you are trying to have a Turkish coffee experience with bakhlawa.
Only if there was an option to give 0...
Read moreKlava has quickly become one of my favorite dessert spots in Bangalore. Their torte kek is a standout – incredibly delicious and generously portioned for the price. I highly recommend dining in to fully experience their offerings. While the torte kek is a must-try, you also can't go wrong with their pistachio desserts, especially the tres leches and baklava. Speaking of baklava, I once ordered their assorted premium pistachio baklava via Swiggy, and although it cost around ₹1200, it was incredibly rich and delicious. My only minor disappointment has been with the availability of certain items. On one cafe visit, the baklava was out of stock, which was a bit of a letdown. Similarly, trying to order torte kek through Swiggy can be hit-or-miss as it's not always available, which is quite frustrating. A suggestion for the cafe: adding some appetizers to the menu would be a...
