I used to think Meghana's Biryani was overrated—until I tried it. While it's a bit pricey, the taste and portion sizes make it worth every penny. The flavours are rich and authentic, with just the right amount of spices to make each bite memorable. The ambience is nothing to write home about, but it's clean and well-maintained, which is what really matters. One downside is the crowd management during peak hours; it can get quite hectic and a bit overwhelming. However, the overall experience more than makes up for it. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you step in. They handle the rush with grace and efficiency, ensuring that you're well taken care of. The servings are generous, which is a pleasant surprise considering the price. Each dish is presented beautifully, and you can tell that a lot of care goes into the preparation. Even the smallest details, like the perfectly cooked rice and tender pieces of meat, stand out. In short, if you're a biryani lover looking for a place that delivers on both quality and quantity, Meghana's Biryani is definitely worth a visit. Despite a few minor drawbacks, the overall experience is delightful, leaving you satisfied and eager to return.

Pretty decent place and food. Famous for its spicy non veg biriyani, I have been ordering from this place for quite a while. However, this biriyani although delicious is different from the Hyderabadi dum style and has a slight South touch. Nothing against, but just wanted to clarify a bit. My colleagues and I visited this place to have dinner at this place last week. I discovered their second floor seating area for the first time, since I have only been to the first floor. The second floor has the best ambience of all and we were welcomed cordially at the entrance. We ordered some starters - Gobi Manchurian, baby corn and, a variety of juices and shakes- fresh lime juice, mango lassi, plain lassi, all of which were okay. Then came a variety of biriyani - paneer, special veg and special non veg meghana biriyani. Both of the special veg and special meghana biriyani were much less in both quantity and taste, so we were disappointed not to have ordered the usual biriyani we had at other times. So for biriyani always go for boneless chicken biriyani to get the best taste.

Used to love this place for their chicken 65 Biryani. I definitely would have tried other items, but I have no memory of it, probably they were not worth remembering. Visited Meghana, Indiranagar branch only to have the chicken 65 biryani, however the head waiter kept insisting we order nati koli(country chicken) biryani.. it's taste surpassing 65. Moreover he highly recommended some chicken starter.. Although apprehensive we ordered trusting his recommendations. Our fears turned out true... -Nati koli biryani was a complete let down with no balance of flavors(nati koli is one of most flavorful chicken out there) -Chicken starter(chicken drums) was insanely spicy and the meat itself tasted foul as if it's been sitting for long and been refried. I hope the waiter wasn't trying to push leftover or slow moving dishes.. but that's how it felt he insisting on something we weren't so interested. So the lunch in Meghana was utterly disappointing. The upside however was that the street cats loved the chicken. They should also improve the quality of tissues.

Meghana Foods in Indira Nagar is a popular dining spot renowned for its authentic South Indian cuisine, particularly its biryanis and seafood dishes. The restaurant’s casual yet vibrant atmosphere makes it an appealing choice for both families and groups of friends. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including the highly recommended chicken biryani, which is known for its rich flavors and generous portions. Other standout dishes include the spicy fish curry and various vegetarian options that cater to diverse tastes. Service at Meghana Foods is typically prompt, with staff members being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The pricing is reasonable, considering the quality and portion sizes. The restaurant can get busy, especially during peak hours, so it’s advisable to visit during off-peak times or be prepared for a short wait. Overall, Meghana Foods is a must-visit for anyone craving flavorful South Indian fare in a lively setting.

Pros:- Food is Hyderabad style. We tried meghana special biriyani and boneless special biriyani and it was good and tasty. The starters that we ordered were golden chicken (Chinese 10 nos boneless pieces) and pepper chicken (6 nos soft chicken pieces with bone). The overall ambience was very good. The service was also good and fast ,they didn't make us wait too long. Very huge dinning space which was spread across 2 floors. Located in the prime location of indira nagar just near the indiranagar metro station. We spent 1520 Rs. for 3 ppl and the food was enough for us Cons:- The only cons which i felt was parking, its in the indira nagar main road just near the metro station so we had to park our bikes in metro station parking which caused us an extra penny. Food will be bit spicy compared to other biriyani so we had to order a mango lassi as well 😃 Overall good experience and must try a place to have an authentic hyderabadi biriyani 😊

They are known for their signature dish “Biriyani” specifically “chicken boneless biriyani”. The biriyani isn’t too spicy or mild the flavours are well balanced and that gives joy to your palate and it keeps going on to your stomach till it fills. Even other biriyanis like paneer, mushroom and nati chicken biriyani also tastes good but i recommend to go for boneless biriyani only. Ambience is also so peace and calm, in first floor you have seating for family and friends and in second floor you have seating for corporate lunch or team lunch/dinner which is very good move from the management. Even the staff are very cooperative and serve with smile. With respect to parking they have valet parking but can’t park for long in the road till we handover our car to valet as it is very busy area. Only for that reason I have reduced one star.
