Meghana Biryani, a popular restaurant chain known for its delectable biryanis, has earned a well-deserved reputation for its exceptional South Indian and Hyderabadi cuisine. I recently had the pleasure of dining at their establishment, and I must say, it was a memorable experience.
The centerpiece of Meghana Biryani's menu is undoubtedly their biryanis, and they certainly did not disappoint. I ordered the Hyderabadi chicken biryani, and it was a masterpiece of flavors and spices. The rice was perfectly cooked, fragrant with saffron, and each grain was distinct. The tender pieces of chicken were generously layered within, creating a harmonious blend of textures. The spices were well-balanced, allowing the true essence of the dish to shine through. It was a biryani aficionado's dream come true.
Beyond biryanis, Meghana offers a wide range of South Indian and Hyderabadi dishes, from spicy curries to crispy dosas. The dosas were thin, crisp, and served with an array of chutneys and sambar that added depth to the experience. Their curries were flavorful, and you could adjust the spice levels to your preference, making it suitable for a range of palates.
One aspect that I particularly appreciated was the authenticity of the flavors. It felt like a culinary journey to the heart of South India with each bite. The use of fresh ingredients and traditional cooking methods was evident in every dish.
The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, with tasteful decor that complemented the cuisine's rich flavors. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, readily offering suggestions and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
In terms of pricing, Meghana Biryani offers good value for the quality and quantity of food you receive. It's a place where you can enjoy a hearty meal without breaking the bank.
In conclusion, Meghana Biryani is a culinary gem for anyone who appreciates the complexity and depth of South Indian and Hyderabadi cuisine. Their biryanis are a true standout, but the entire menu offers a delightful exploration of flavors. If you're looking for an authentic and satisfying dining experience, Meghana Biryani is a must-visit. It's a testament to the culinary richness of India's regional cuisines, and I look forward to returning for another...

I’m writing to share a disappointing experience I had recently at your [insert exact location] outlet, which I hope you take in the spirit of constructive feedback from a long-time admirer of your brand.
On 15th June 2025, I traveled over 80 kilometers from Kolar to your outlet, purely to enjoy Meghana’s biryani after more than a year. I had also made a table reservation a day in advance with manager Vishwajith (not a friend, but someone I was accompanying). Despite confirming this, we were informed there was no reservation, and were eventually asked to adjust at a cramped two-seater. The chair couldn’t even be moved due to customers seated directly behind, making it an uncomfortable start to the meal.
Still, I stayed optimistic, looking forward to the biryani I’ve always loved—having dined multiple times at your Indiranagar and Residency Road branches. However, I was extremely disappointed to find the biryani overloaded with masalas, to the point where it became difficult to eat even with raita. This was unlike the balanced, flavorful taste I associate with Meghana.
When I politely brought this to the attention of your staff member, Mr. Dinesh, he responded quite rudely and brushed it off, saying, “it is always cooked this way.” He refused to offer any replacement or show the slightest understanding. To add to the discomfort, while I was still trying to finish what I could, he insisted I bring the bill and settle it — which felt quite ungracious and unnecessary, especially in the middle of a disappointing experience.
As someone who made a special trip just to enjoy the food and the vibe of Meghana, this visit was far from what I expected. I’ve always recommended your brand to others, but this experience has made me reconsider.
I’ve attached the bill copy here for your reference, and I truly hope the team acknowledges this feedback and takes steps to ensure this doesn’t happen to other loyal customers. I believe certain gestures can go a long way in restoring trust when things fall short.

Dear concerned authority
I visited Meghana Foods, Indiranagar (544, Chinmaya Mission Hospital Road, Hoysala Nagar, Indiranagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka) today and ordered a "Meghana Special Chicken Biryani". However, to my shock, I found a "mutton piece ( thick red in colour)" in it. This raises serious concerns about food safety and hygiene at your establishment. And also there is no option of mutton biryani in their total menu.
When I brought this issue to the attention of the "manager", he attempted to cover it up by offering "free food and an additional 10% discount(observed in the image reference)", asking me "not to inform anyone" which clearly shows that they had done the fraud. This response was highly unprofessional and unethical, also they vanished the meat I had given for checking, though I had another piece for evidence.
Furthermore, I have serious doubts about the quality and authenticity of the meat used. Given the circumstances, I fear the possibility of contaminated or illegal meat being served. To support my complaint, I have collected a "sample of the meat along with photographic evidence".
I request an immediate investigation into this matter. Please let me know how to proceed with submitting the sample for testing and any further actions required. Food safety is a serious issue, and I will escalate this to the FSSAI and relevant health...
