Misu is definitely a place which strikes to most of our minds when it comes to Pan-asian places. This place has been sitting in my brain from quite a long and finally got some time to pay a visit. Now Misu has opened it's door to serve the folks of Indiranagar as it's second branch in the city.
I was there with a cluster of food admirers to indulge in their pan-asian delicacies. My recent visit to Misu was quite delightful. Would you like to know more about it? Take a look at the dishes I delished there
👉Som tum salad : The richness of shredded papaya and carrot with peanuts is truly a bliss. Mild sweet taste of papaya and honey dressing brought a pleasant flavour to the dish.
👉 Raw mango salad : Fine pieces of raw green mango was served with cherry tomatoes and traces of onions. The tomato and mango has got a tangy taste. This is a must try.
👉 Thai style tofu satay : Fresh and tender tofu is fried to golden perfection with pieces of capsicum. This dish is accompanied by peanut sauce. The taste of tofu with slightly spicy peanut sauce is utterly delicious.
👉Know suey : Plain noodles are accompanied by coconut gravy, cubes to egg white, soya sauce, dried ginger, peanuts and minced pieces of onion and coriander. The gravy is moderately thick in consistency and less spicy. Once you mix the toppings, this dish has an equilibrium to flavours. The coconuty flavour of gravy and ginger tasted great.
👉Kung pao chicken : Fresh and tender pieces of chicken are fried to golden perfection with adequate amount of pepper and spices. One of the best starters to initiate your meal with.
👉Japanese soufflé cheesecake : This jiggly and fluffy cheesecake is a show stopper! You could sense the taste of fresh cheese and a sweet syrup layered on its top.
👉Matcha greentea Garden : The lemon grass ice cream served in the plate was absolutely fresh and refreshing. Greentea flavoured chocolate mousse was good, but it could be better.

Read moreI am deeply disappointed and frankly disgusted by my recent experience at MISU. Being a pure vegetarian since birth, I have always been meticulous about my dietary choices. However, my trust was shattered when I ordered what was supposed to be vegetarian noodles, only to discover that they were mixed with non-vegetarian ingredients. 😓😡😔
Imagine my shock and dismay when, after taking a few bites, I found myself chewing on morsels of meat hidden within the supposedly vegetarian noodles. This blatant disregard for my dietary preferences is not only unacceptable but also incredibly distressing. It's incomprehensible how a restaurant could be so careless and negligent, especially when it comes to something as fundamental as catering to dietary restrictions. 😭😓😢😔🤮
The fact that I had already consumed a few bites before realizing the presence of non-vegetarian elements only adds insult to injury. It's a violation of my trust and a clear indication of the restaurant's lack of respect for their customers. 😔🙁 To make matters worse, the staff's response to my complaint was dismissive and indifferent. Instead of showing genuine concern and offering a sincere apology, they brushed off my concerns as if they were inconsequential.
This experience has not only ruined my meal but also left me deeply disillusioned with MISU. . I urge my fellow vegetarians to exercise caution when dining or ordering here, as the restaurant's negligence knows no bounds. It's disheartening to see such disregard for dietary preferences, and I sincerely hope that the management takes swift action to rectify this issue and prevent it from happening again in the...
Read moreI love Pan Asian cuisine and have been to Misu 3 times now. I agree with the other reviewer that the food items are a hit or a miss. Ambience is fine. Nothing great given the price Tried the following:- Som Tam Salad - decent Dimsum and sushis were great.. especially the cream cheese dimsum and the tofu sushi. There ends my hits.. main course went south . Mapu Tofu -I could only taste the soy sauce; It was bad and only had tofu nothing else.. just tofu in soya sauce. This is usually one of my fav dishes and here it was a disappointment to say the least. Dan Dan noodles: I really didn’t enjoy this. First time that I’m having it.. So I don’t know how the dish is supposed to be.. but a clear miss for me. Noodles were like rice sticks again the gravy just tasted like sweet soya sauce..
You may wonder why I’m rating the restaurant a 4star, and why I’m visiting for the third time, that’s because, the first time I came I don’t remember what I ordered, but every single dish was a super hit.. worst of all.. it’s super expensive.. so if you are feeling rich and want a gamble.. pls...
