My recent experience at Nandhini Deluxe - Andhra Restaurant - Jayanagar was thoroughly disappointing on multiple fronts. Let's start with the service - it was abysmal. The waitstaff seemed disinterested and untrained, taking forever to even acknowledge our presence, let alone take our orders. We had to flag someone down just to get menus, and even then, they seemed bothered by our requests.

Hygiene was another major concern. The tables were sticky, the utensils looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned, and I couldn't shake the feeling that the kitchen wasn't up to standard either. It's unsettling to dine somewhere when you're not confident in the cleanliness of the environment.

Now, onto the food - it was a disaster. Not only was the quality poor, with some dishes tasting downright stale or reheated, but the portions were ridiculously small for the price we paid. The entrees arrived lukewarm, suggesting they had been sitting out for a while before being served. It felt like a gamble ordering anything, as we weren't sure what would disappoint us next .

I've been to multiple Nandini restaurants but the experience here was the worst. Make sure to read till the end as this should never happen with any customer.

We reached the restaurant around 2 PM and they said rice is over for the meals and we have to wait. That was a disappointment as Nandini is known for their Andhra style meals and by 2 PM the restaurant was out of rice which was really weird. Later we ordered Biriyani (Veg & Chicken), which was good, so no complaints there. But within 2 mins of we getting served, we overheard them saying that even Veg biriyani also got over. Later we asked for Lassi, even that was not available. Somehow we finished our disappointing lunch, paid the bill and got out of the restaurant. However, when we were on street outside the restaurant, as a "cherry on top" of our disappointment, the server came running behind to check the payment confirmation on our phone. We got out of the restaurant only after the payment announcement from their POS system. This guy stopped us in middle of the road to check if we made payment for our meals or not, which could have easily been checked in their POS system. Such a disgusting customer service and experience. I was a fan of Nandini food chain, but no more. Ones self respect is more important than their food. Never again 🙏
