Potful Biryani, JP Nagar — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Potful has made it a habit to deliver food late and cold. Happened 3 times with me (April 18, 2023 / August 24, 2024 / Oct 21, 2024). Every single time they say that they will try to rectify it the next time. However they will never improve based on my experience.

Some days the order was placed with J P Nagar Branch and today with Uttarahalli Branch.

Place is best avoided as the food is sure to be delivered late and cold. They don't show any remorse for the actions and will continue to do the same again. So if you wish not to be irritated after placing an order and don't want to feel like you have wasted money "Don't order on Potful".

What started as a good experience with Biryani served differently is now an exact opposite. They don't care about customer service and their response to any fault of theirs is Pathetic.

Will tell everyone around about the repeated bad service so that others don't have to go through the same...

We had ordered one veg biriyani and one chicken biryani from potful Jp nagar branch today around 8pm.

We instructed them to make little spicy of chicken biryani. We went to collect the biryani ( there was 20% on take aways - they said )

The first impression of opening the biryani was utterly disappointing. No flavour, no aroma!! The oil they used in the biryani it was smelling something different not sure how to explain my feeling.

We paid 495rs for two biryanis and learnt a lesson not to order from this place again.

We all like biryani for the flavour and aroma. I felt like eating cooked rice with half fried veggies.

Humble suggestion to clay pot - focus on the process, taste, and use quality ingredients specifically oil/ghee.

I value for my money, taste and mood.

Through this reply to your sweet handwritten note that you sent along with the Biriyani, we would like to express our utmost joy consuming one of the most aromatic, flavorful, tasty and sumptuous biryanis!! Wow!

We ordered one Fish Biriyani and one Jackfruit Biriyani.

Both were cooked fresh, the dum was piping HOT, the food was SO aromatic when we opened the dum , the jackfruit was very well cooked and the fish masala within the fish biriyani was outstanding.

Most importantly, the fish was NOT bassa (which is used by most of the popular biriyani outlets in Bangalore) and it was absolutely delicious.

A BIG thank you to you and the entire team. You have just got your next repeat customer! (Next time, one Lucknowi and one Kolkota version!)😀🔥🎉
