Woods & Brixx Pizza - Sourdough and Woodfired Pizza — Restaurant in Bengaluru

There are so many quality pizza places in Bengaluru for us to decide the best! But, if you're looking for a great wood fired pizza, having that authentic Italian taste.. look no further than "WOODS & BRIXX Pizza", JP Nagar. They've currently got the best pizza 🍕 and also their garlic bread and the spicy dip they make is simply awesome! 🤩 You get an excellent pizza cooked to perfection, loaded with delicious toppings, cheese and the crust itself is their speciality. The cherry tomatoes and bocconcini are personal favorite 😍

We have visited twice and ordered Stuffed garlic bread, Garlic bread with cheese, The AVVA pizza, Cherry Tomato & Bocconcini pizza, Roasted Vegetarian pizza, Dulce De Leche (DDL) shake, The Big Man shake 🧋and Freshly Squeezed Watermelon Juice!!!! All were amazing in taste!

I would like to give the polite and responsive staff my appreciation & the great, yummy and delicious pizza ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff are attentive & they cook lovely food making you feel welcomed time and again! 😋

We also got to meet the owner Shawaz Sir.. who was friendly, humble and transparent enough to show us the kitchen, how the pizza is being prepared and explained in detail of the wood fired oven they use and also offered us a complimentary desert which we have parked for our next visit 😀 I also understood from our conversation that the ingredients used are mostly imported and that, does qualify to 100% when you get to eat their pizza!

After having spent enough of time at Pizza Bakery, Brik oven, Raffael’s, Alt Pizza, holy Doh, Nomad Pizza and various micro breweries like Uru and Bier library, I can certainly say this has to be one of the finest wood pies in the city (haven’t tried TOTO’s yet). The staff at woods & Brixx is courteous and well informed. I ordered veg pizzas today and wanted to just test their dough, sauce and cheese. Ordered a Smoky Marzano Pizza and a Shrooms Pizza. Right of the bat the leoparding on the dough was perfect to my liking. The sauce was just perfect and tangy enough to flavour the pie without additional oregano, sauces etc needed. The cheese was stretchy and flavourful. The crumb structure was nice and airy and the slight crisp on the dough gave it some structure to hold on to. The Shrooms pizza had an assortment of Funghi which I had probably never tasted before. The goat cheese on the shrooms pizza was bomb. We love to have good things at the end and thankfully this place did not disappoint. I ordered a standard Banoffee Pie, which many people screw it up. I personally do not prefer overly ripe bananas and thankfully they had just the right amount of ripe. It tasted just right. The balance of sea salt on the crumb was exquisite. A good touch for texture and taste. The overall eating experience was remarkable, I just hope they stay consistent. And yes they could certainly up the interior vibe a little, maybe it’s too early for me to say anything on that as the place will be in full operations tomorrow onwards. Will certainly recommend this Pie to all the firelovin folks...

So we were roaming around in JP nagar and one guy gave us a nice envelope which has a nice well quality welcome letter for this place! Very different marketing right? and that guy was not looking like a normal sales person so we thought of giving it a try even though we were not very hungry!

Coming to the restaurant and eating part. We just ordered a simple marinara pizza (if you get the basics right theres a high chance you will get all dishes right!) Dough - super great.. have not had this since a long time . Tomato sauce - again very nicely made. Just tomato and garlic but really yumm Customisation - they have tried their own customised version of marinara which was adding olives, parmesan and arugula - I liked the combination though I prefer lil less olives but that's fine. ( They also offer half and half pizza if you order 12 inch) Ambience and location - nice cosy simple interior on the main road and with basement parking. Very well suited for for anyone coming by vehicle. Staff - very hospitable and good service.

Final verdict - I really loved the place and surely will go again to try out other items.

Ohh yea and that sales person which we thought doesn't look like the sales guy was actually one of the owners of the restaurant.
