The Eatery — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Ambience; Pleasant live music, not too loud nor too dull, doesn't hinder conversation, at most of the times😂 Nice use of natural lighting with effective use of shades. Aesthetically pleasing with a really open arrangement for seating space.

Staff; Watchful but not intrusive. Not overly crowded in presence, just there to help you out in getting what you requested in minimally intrusive way.

Buffet @ 1499+taxes (comes out to around 1700+🥲)

Chaat counter; Mostly bhel n dahi bhala type things, missed the pani puri and papri chaat type items.

Live Asian; They make things to order but couldn't explore too much, sorry🙈

Pizza; A bit disappointed as given the brand one would least expect are crust options not just toppings. Only thick naan base type option available, wish they had something like sour dough or Neapolitan type dough. Pasta is available as well, white red n pink sauce, but sadly the pasta was undercooked. Was a little extra chewy n if the veggies, baby corn😅, are to be added they should be cared to cooked to enough to be softer.

Salad bar (make your own); A fair selection of options, but would prefer to have a few tags on the sauces they placed over.

Mains; Loved the hariyali gosht, it was awesome, proper cooked, it literally melted when eating was pretty good 🤯.

One the dishes was Thai green curry, well sadly too blant n too overly pungent, not worth being present there😕.

The ginger sauce fish was great, it was literally fork tender, was juicy and quite flavorful.

Appetizers which were brought over were pretty good as well, fish chilli it may sound weird but was mind blowing😍, chettinad chicken (semi-dry) was okayish n chicken kebab was juicy n had a good balance of overall flavor.

Paneer makhani if I recall correctly was quite good, quite soft n good flavor to gravy.

2 soups on the menu with switching everyday.

Good selection of desserts, few options for mocktails and the ending scenes with a warm cup of coffee.

All in all bit over pricy for the quality n variety, ok for...

One of the best restaurant in a 4 star hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights . I tried both breakfast buffet and ala carte for dinner. Breakfast buffet is huge with south indian, north indian , italian and American dishes.

In ala carte we ordered

Paruppu vadai-5/5. Excellent taste Veg biryani -3.5/5. Average.Masala and salt was less 3.Corn cigars-5/5. Excellent taste and must try Kadai veg-4/5. Great taste

In breakfast buffet

Idli-2/5. Not good Plain dosa -5/5. Excellent taste Vada-5/5. Excellent taste Rawa dosa-5/5. Excellent taste Ragi upma-3/5. Good taste Rava upma-4/5. Great taste

Chutneys and sambar both were good

Ambience is excellent. Service was excellent and fast.

Washroom available.Ac available. Parking available but no valet.

Total bill for all carte was 1180 and 1310 for 2 people having ala carte on two days. Breakfast buffet is included in our hotel stay.

Overall definitely...

We visited this place in a group of 5 with 2 kids. Its a in house restaurant of four points with both buffett and ala carate options.

While initially the menu didn't seem much extensive, the waiter said they can make many ad hoc options for us. We had the bruschetta, hara bhara kabab, subz khurchan, paneer butter masala. Everything seemed to be freshly made and was excellent. Especially the bruschetta and subz khurchan. The breads were excellent too. The onion stuffed kulcha was generously stuffed with sauted onion and was an absolute treat. The dal could have been a tad more spicy.

Overall, loved the food and the staff service. Sovon was very helpful with everything....
