The Terrace at Gilly's Redefined — Restaurant in Bengaluru

This place is quite close to my house and finally I got a chance to visit it with my friends.

Ambience - 5/5 The music is just right. Outdoor seating is perfectly decked up and decor is also good. Good ambience to pep up your mood! Service - 5/5 The staff is cordial and was very patient to wait for us to place our order and pick a table for seating. Cleanliness - 4/5 Food taste - We ordered sangrias and whiskey. For munching we ordered Jhalmuri bhel- kolkata style, cilantro veg nachos, chatpata paneer tikka, pizza verdure. Jhalmuri bhel Kolkata style - 5/5 I am from Kolkata.. and this is how exactly it tastes way back home! Cilantro veg Nachos - 2.5/5 This was a little disappointing cos the Nachos seemed like the ones available at local shops . It gets a 2.5 because of the dip! Chatpata paneer tikka- 4/5 the paneer was soft and well marinated in the sauce. Chutni was delicious. Though they could have given a little more quantity and some salad to get a perfect 5! Pizza Verdure - 5/5 One of the best thin crust pizzas I have had lately. The crust was fresh and so were the toppings. The quantity of toppings and sauce was just perfect - not more not less!

The Terrace at Gilly’s Redefined seemed promising with its open-air rooftop setting, but unfortunately the experience didn’t match expectations. The ambiance felt quite plain, with minimal décor and little attention to creating a warm or inviting vibe. While the view from the terrace is decent, it’s not enough to carry the overall atmosphere.

The food was disappointing. We tried a few appetizers and mains, but nothing stood out in terms of flavor or freshness. Presentation was basic, and some dishes lacked seasoning. The drinks were equally underwhelming — cocktails felt unbalanced and the non-alcoholic options didn’t offer much variety or creativity.

Given the location and concept, there’s definitely potential here, but it needs a stronger focus on both food quality and drink execution. Service was passable, but not particularly engaging or attentive.

For a city with so many vibrant terrace pubs and breweries, The Terrace at Gilly’s Redefined doesn’t currently stand out. If you’re looking for a lively rooftop with great food and drinks, there are other nearby options that deliver a more satisfying experience. Totally ruined our New Year. Booked Table for 4 at 'The Terrace' from Book My Show. Had to wait roadside for half hour for entering inside. At entrance they confirmed for table reservations. When we reached Terrace there are no tables available and the place was overcrowded. When we asked manager he was very rude. He simply refused to give table and questioning us why we ordered for Table. At Fandom area tables were vacant and they were so rudely denying to give table. Unlimited Food and Beverages were another gimmick by them. At drinks counter 100's of people are waiting. Bartenders are simply standing and not giving any drinks to people. After so many requests they will give only cheap beer or vodka that also when they wish. Food counter was almost empty by 9 pm. Not even refilling the food and most items in menu are not available. There was no coordination between event organizers and gilly's management. Gilly's staffs were so rude and misbehaving. Don't waste your money by booking for events there. Simply waste of money and ruined our most precious time. If there was option for negative rating I would...
