UTSAV — Restaurant in Bengaluru

The ambience makes this a cozy place for dinner, they serve dhaba style food which is quite popular in this area, especially with college going students in close vicinity.

We luckily found a table as soon as we went, for starters we got masala papad which got over in no time, baby corn tikka and kurkure bhindi. Kurkure bhindi was very good, however baby corn tikki was not that great, it needed more time for marination, felt like it was given hurriedly.

Main course was pulkas, kulcha , Laccha paratha and naan with veg kadai and methi matar malai. All the breads were good, but salt was missing in naan, veg kadai was alright , methi matar malai was good. Then we got jeera rice, the rice was bit grainy, would ve been nice if it was cooked a bit more. Was full so din try desserts.

Will come back again for the chaats.

Service was pretty fast , but the place needs a few more staff as the guy was busy serving and cudnt take orders properly.

Went here as it was a new restaurant closeby to our hostel and i was eager to review this place.

The entrance has a very bad smell , i really dont know whats beneath the place. Its spacious for around 20 people but the passage is narrow, so i decided to order gobhi paratha and for the side chole masala, the next time i came here i decided to order a mini thali

Gobhi paratha: Descent enough for the price , it wasnt bland and had the expected taste but you get raitha with it so i was satisfied compared to the derby 'Mini Punjabi Dhaba'.

Chole masala: This can be enough for 2 people , it was a bit spicy but succeptible taste for chole, worth the price

Mini thali (recommended) I believe this is the best you can i get , i got a gulab jamun , daal, dry/gravy sabji, phulkas and rice. This is a very good meal especially for hostelites in seek...
