3 Stars only for the inside of the temple It is well maintained

I Suggest people who are planning to organise any functions in this premises to keep in mind the below points

1. Coming to function halls - Function halls has a seperate entrance next to the temple, but the temple representative doesn't open it for during the function So the guests should come into the Hall from the temple only. This Facility is not at all ideal for Old People as they should walk more and climb steps .. they do have a stair chair at the steps ,but to operate it only security has the access and to call the security again one has to come near entrance .

So the access to the function hall is not easy for old people

2. The Purohit - If you are organising the function,you do have a option of choosing your own purohit or you can request the mutt people It is better to go choose purohit on your own because the mutt purohit they assign will be the same purohit for other functions is the same location, So to manage 2-3 pourohitya ,the purohit doesn't complete all the shastras and he will be in eager to finish his work and move on to other function

3. Food Arrangment - Food By the mutt is very good and the way they serve the food is very good , But.. We ,as the organiser of a function were told on the day of the function that there will be only one pankti for food and everyone has to sit for the first pankti only including the organisers . They dont allow you to request for 2nd round of Food and we suffered a lot in that matter If u have guests coming during the first pankti,they will not arrange extra food for them rather they tell to wait till the last pankti which will be the pankti for all the temple representatives and chefs .This pankti will be the last pankti of food where after all the function in 1st,2nd ,3rd and others floors are completed

Please keep in mind the above and plan according If you don't have more old people coming and if u are ready to abide by what the representative say...

Pathetic experience!

Skin cutting barber: Mutt affiliated barber is incapable to properly shave Upanayana kid's hair. Kid had to undergo multiple cuts and was crying continuously due to pain!! 😡

It's sad that mutt doesn't even APOLOGIZE TOO.

Food timings: If you book a hall and expect flexible timings for food, then forget it. It's pure business while collecting money, but when it comes to service they show attitude and force us to skip ritual and Pooja just to accomodate their timings. They think they are doing a service by allowing us to book a hall. Again, it's pathetic attitude.

Security and cleaning staff: There are around 15+ ladies surrounding you for money right after the function for money. But none of them clean the hall properly and regularly. It's better to book a private hall outside than here. Atleast, they are scared of losing customers and keep up with better service.

Aged people: Not suitable for aged people and heart patients. All people are forced to climb stairs. Better book a hall somewhere else if you care for aged people.

Logistics issue: It's a tiresome job to take luggage from the road to the higher floors. Especially with all the stairs and maze architecture. They keep the backside gate locked always.

Also, they don't allow you to decide the whole menu. Only sweets can be customized.

They take only cash for payment.

Hill slope like parking.

Some stage side rooms do not have proper ventilation. We were literally sweating during the whole function inspite of the outside air...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A divine experience with family – spiritually fulfilling!

I visited Sri Puthige Mutt in Udupi along with my wife and daughter, and it was a deeply spiritual and peaceful experience. The temple surroundings are clean, serene, and well-maintained. The divine atmosphere instantly fills you with calmness and devotion.

We were blessed to have darshan of Lord Krishna and also got a glimpse of the daily pooja rituals being performed by the Swamiji and temple priests. The architecture of the mutt and the overall discipline around the premises reflect centuries of tradition and devotion.

My daughter enjoyed the temple surroundings and the prasadam, and my wife felt very connected to the spiritual vibrations of the place.
