Kamat Bugle Rock. Lunch@ 17.Sep 2023. Enjoyed the lunch, Bele Holige was served Hot and tasted good All other items served were good as well This restaurant is coming to its historic glory, man power has increased, service is top notch. Overall enjoyed a nice Sunday afternoon meal. Update @ 01.Feb.2023. 1. Cleanliness and ambience of the restaurant has increased considerably from the earlier days. 2. Service and the attitude of people in the restaurant is great. 3. The food, taste and quality of food was excellent. The normal Jolada rotti oota costed 205.00 per person, a great value for money meal. They still don't accept credit card, it is only either Cash or Gpay We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. --------------++----------------- Visited this place for Lunch on a weekday [Thursday]. They serve only Plaintain Leaf North Karnataka Meal, popularly known as Jolada Rotti Oota. They have 2 variants, the Normal Thali priced at 205.00 and the special version at 270.00, which gives you a Papad, Chilli Bhajji, Holige & Ice Cream extra. The meal tasted good, which consisted of Mango Delicacy [ Sweet & Spicy] Sprouted beans curry Greens Curry Curd Raitha Brinjal Yennegai Jolada Rotti Rice β Sambar, Rasam Curds & Pickle Rottis were served Fresh & Hot, all the items tasted good. Things I Did Not Like about the place: 1/ Cleanliness is not at all maintained in the restaurant as well as the common area reaching the restaurant 2/ The whole place looks very messy with things thrown around 3/ Tables were not cleaned properly 4/ Parking is a big issue if you are driving a 4 wheeler 5/ Lift is not working, so if you are taking any seniors then it is a big let down 6/ They not accept credit cards at all, so it is either Cash / Gpay Overall a descent place to have the good food, but with the ambience & cleanliness, I will not be visiting this place anytime soon. But if the management cleans up the place and the common areas, the whole experience will be very good.

" MUST VISIT PLACE FOR NORTH KARNATAKA MEALS " Jolada Rotti Meals is an North Karnataka inspired cusine which consists of various items to satisfy one's hunger pangs & the meals is totally vegetarian. This place we visited is located in one of the historic locations of Bengaluru's, Basavanagudi. This restaurant is buzzing with crowd with an average wait time of 5 to 10 minutes to find seating. We ordered Jolada Rotti Special Meals which consisted of various items starting with papad served with methi leaves & sliced onions, junka, mirch/chilly bajji, holige served with ghee, kosambari , Jowar roti served with a cube of butter, mosaru baaji, kaalu palya, sabaski palya, brinjal palya /yennegai badnekai & rice served with ghee, sambar & rasam, with a bowl of curd plus buttermilk & to finish it off with fruit salad & ice-cream plus sweet paan. The entire meal was unlimited & had an absolutely authentic taste to it with a great mix of flavours. The service of this place is good & they make sure you are attended even though the place can get occupied pretty quick the staff is friendly & courteous. Overall we really enjoyed our Jolada Rotti Special Meals & we recommend the place for you to visit. Only con about the place is that the management needs to organise the place properly & make it more planned & clean though the service is top-notch. --Follow me on instagram @bengaluru.food_hunters--

We used to visit Kamat near Hoodi Circle years back. Since it was taken down due to metro construction we have been hunting for a kamat for long. We (a family of 4) were all excited to visit this outlet on a weekend. First thing, no dedicated parking is available for this hotel; nor there is a valet parking. If you are lucky, you might get parking in one of the gullies opposite to the hotel and there is no covered parking as well. Hotel is in 3rd floor and the lift is available. Seating capacity is less and quite congested I would say. But the service was quick. Hobbattu (their trademark food item) will cost 19/- if you wanted more than one. They also have kids meals costing 150/- and make sure to specifically ask them. And no other items available, other than the meals. Food quality is good; hobbattu, jolad rotti, brinjal kootu etc were all good. Mango kootu was average. Overall we liked the hotel, service and food; we will definitely visit again.

This is one of the best place to have north Karnataka food. Jowar roti oota is unlimited and finger licking. We need to go to 2nd floor for Jowar roti oota. It costs approximately Rs. 175/- per meals. Lot of items are served. It starts with two types of curry, fresh raw tender onions, brinjal curry was awesome. Than raitha, Jowar roti with butter, chutney, rice, rasam, sambar, curd and butter milk. The place was crowded and also u can enjoy live Hindustani vocal music. I felt it's worth every rupee you spend here for the dinner. They serve with lot of concern and affection. On the first floor North India dishes are available. Ground floor is self service. Parking space is not available in the hotel premises but ofcourse you can park your vehicle on the roadside.

There are three floors here where we had from the self service section... the seating was good... Ordered baby corn fried rice and Gobi manchurian.... The manchurian was yummy and crisp... Though some pieces were bit less cooked.. still better compared to these other places in the vicinity... The baby corn fried rice was totally tasteless and horrible... It was below average... Less salty too... Better not to try out the baby fried rice... The service was instant... The hygeine seemed good... But there were many fruitfly kind small flies flying around everywhere and sitting on the plates and the food...ππ Overall just an average experience... There are better eatouts to choose in the vicinity... One pro is the south Indian food is good...

No doubt, it's 5 star experience. Spl. Jolada roti oota was amazingly tasty and filling. It's a healthy jolada roti meal which comes along with bele holige. Food is served with so much care, we had buttermilk instead of water. They refill without even asking. All roti is served along with butter. Service is amazingly and super fast. The entry to the restaurant is hidden behind the thathasthu left side entry to the lift lobby. Parking is on the roadside. Best time to visit is at around 12:30 PM for lunch otherwise be ready to wait. You get normal meals for 190 and special meal at 250. Special meal includes holige, mirchi bajji and fruit salad with icecream.
