Loafer's Cafe — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

Awful experience! We ordered cookie (melting moment), hot chocolate, cold coffee with icecream, iced tea, and tuna sandwich! They served us hot chocolate with a complimentary cookie (better call it biscuit). When all the other ordered items were served on our table, we asked whether the cookie was a complimentary one or the one we ordered. They informed that it's the melting moment cookie that we ordered from their menu. When the truth is that's a complimentary cookie which they serve with hot beverages! I know this from previous dining experience in this cafe. They charged us Rs. 69 + GST for the same complimentary biscuit, which one can easily find in a roadside tea stall for Rs. 5/-. When we asked for the bill, they charged us with 10% service charge. As service charge is optional we asked them to remove it from the total bill amount. The staff who waited our table was so rude because we denied service charge! They are treating customers like a bunch on fools and expecting them to pay service charge too!! Taste of the foods: Hot chocolate: 3/5 Taste was okay, but diluted. Cold coffee with icecream: 2/5 Worst cold coffee I ever tasted. Totally filled wish crushed ice. Iced tea: 2/5 Too much mint leaves were added. Tested like a cheap version of mojito. Tuna sandwich: 1/5 The crust of the bread was so hard that we hardly tested any flavour of tuna.

Such a overhyped place! Only nice ambiance and good music don't make a good cafe! Not at all...

Pampering us with tons of all kinds of yummy breakfast and brunch menus, ranging from ALL DAY BREAKFAST, VICTORIAN HIGH TEA to SIZZLERS and BUDDHA BOWLS, LOAFERS is one of our hiding holes in the city.

They serve their breakfast from 8 am which is a pretty decent time to grab a bite and start your day.

The Chef here has curated an extensive Breakfast menu, which includes a mix of savory and sweet dishes. The menu adds significantly to the experience with their healthy, yet lip-smacking renditions of good ol’ classics like BREAD BASKET, THE PARSEE BREAKKIE, BURRITO BOWL and much more!

Some of my favourites here are COLD BREW LATTE, FRENCH TOAST with nutella and berries, TUNA SANDWICH, SPICY SAUSAGE PIZZA and their BREAKFAST PLATTER is just perfect. Apart from these, CHOCOLATE NUT SUNDAE is just bang- on.

These gourmet dishes will definitely make your mornings better which in turn makes your entire day better!

LOAFERS is a perfect place to start your day, the vibe here is amazing.

One of the good places to visit when you want to go out with your friends. The seating is mostly indoors though there is an option to sit outdoors facing a nice lawn when the weather is nice and comfortable. The food is quite good and decent option for beverages. Staff behaviour is polite and helpful. Food quantity is alright (could be improved) but the price is on the upper average side. The place gives the vibes of a boutique cafe although the decor is more 'cool' with 'witty posters' and a neutral comfort factor to it than it is chic. If it is a windy day or a winter morning or evening, making plans to visit this cafe would be a good idea. You could sit outside with your friends and catch up over some decent food and beverages. Overall, Loafers cafe has got a name and is definitely not a bad place to drop by. It has got the brand name attached to it and hence could do with little improvements here and there, but is otherwise a good option to keep in mind when you want to go somewhere without having to think or worry too much about it and be sure it is not going to fail.
