Review of Haldiram Chandni Chowk Situated in the bustling heart of Old Delhi, just a stone's throw from the Sis Ganj Gurdwara, Haldiram's Chandni Chowk branch turned out to be a delightful stop during my recent visit to the area. The vibrant environment of Chandni Chowk, filled with its myriad of shops and historical sites, sets the perfect stage for indulging in some authentic Indian cuisine. Upon entering, I was instantly enveloped by the mouth-watering aroma of spices wafting through the air. The aroma alone was enough to entice me inside, making it impossible to resist sampling the offerings. The first-floor dining area was quite busy, a testament to the restaurant's popularity. Despite it being past the typical lunch rush at 3:30 PM, finding a table was a challenge, so be prepared for a potential wait during peak hours. Haldiram’s operates on a 'pay before you dine' system, which necessitates queuing at the cash counter to place your order. Once paid, patrons receive a receipt directing them to various food counters for collection, depending on the variety of dishes ordered. This system can feel slightly chaotic in a packed restaurant, especially when manoeuvring multiple trays to find a table. However, the staff deftly managed the high volume and ensured that food was fresh and served promptly. I opted for Bhalla Papadi, Masala Dosa, and Amritsari Kulcha. Each dish was flavourful, reflecting the essence of Indian culinary traditions. The quantity, though, was generous and heavy, leaving me in a delightful food coma that’s not uncommon with such rich dishes. It’s essential to be cautious, particularly for those with health considerations like diabetes or high cholesterol, as the menu lacks nutritional information. Cleanliness at Haldiram's was commendable; tables were cleared quickly, making way for new customers, and the available restrooms were a welcome convenience. What truly stood out were the vibrant selections at the takeaway counter on the ground floor. The display of sweets was a feast for the eyes, showcasing an impressive variety of colours and designs. It was hard to resist picking up a treat, and I indulged in a yellow rasmalai, which was absolutely delicious—a perfect blend of creamy and sweet. In summary, my visit to Haldiram Chandni Chowk was a delightful experience, perfectly complementing my exploration of the area and the Gurdwara. It embodies the spirit of Indian street food while offering a sit-down dining experience that is both flavourful and exhilarating. If you find yourself in this historic part of Delhi, make sure to carve out some time for Haldiram’s—it's worth the stop!

Food quality was great and hygiene. Food ordering system was good and nice. Tables were clean and service from the waiters were very nice and attentive. After ordering a food it will take 5-10 to deliver the order. Best in the market restaurant. We tested many products and the taste was very good. Instead of roaming around in crowded chandni Chowk, one can enjoy almost every snack in peaceful environment. Staff: 7/10: well mannered and supportive staff. They are well trained to help you out better whether it's in term of billing, serving/preparing the food. Cleanliness : 9/10: Cleanliness and hygiene is at par with highest standard possible in such a crowded place like chandni Chowk.

Heaven for food lovers. Too much namkeen, sweet and other items available. The restaurant is also available on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Almost all items are available from chat to chinese and Punjabi to South Indian food. Food ordering is good, arrangement and staff is good. Hygiene is very well maintained. Don't miss Raj Kachori from here 🤩

It is situated within walking distance from Chandni Chowk Sis Ganj Gurudwara. This Haldiram outlet is the one-stop solution for your cravings. This place maintains hygiene & proper sanitization. It has a lot of space actually two floors for a seating area so you don't have to wait in queues. But it takes 15-20mins to get the food prepared. Loved the food, if you want to dine in. :) is very tasty!!! first of all, you need to pay for the food at the cash counter, if you need to buy 8 items, they will give you separate tokens for each item, you need to go to the respective counter which is mentioned on the token and wait for your order, chaat items are must-try, cleanliness, great taste, and fast order are some of the qualities of haldirams. less chance of getting a seat easily Because it is available in Chandni Chowk market and one has to wait a lot to go to the washroom here. The first impression is that the place is big and has a very decent selection of Menu along with ready-to-eat packed offerings. They have adequate seatings for groups and are punctual in their opening and closing time. Very suitable place for early breakfast if you are in the area. Though I felt the ordering and billing were slow. Still nice experience Haldiram was founded in 1941 by Ganga Bishan Agarwal, fondly known as Haldiram Ji in his household; as a retail sweets and namkeen shop in Bikaner, Rajasthan. In order to drive expansion, the company's first manufacturing plant was started in Calcutta (now Kolkata). In 1970, a larger manufacturing plant was established in Jaipur. Another manufacturing plant was established in New Delhi, the capital of India, in the early 1990s. In 2003, the company began the process of developing convenience foods to be marketed to consumers. In 2014, Haldiram's was ranked 55th among India's most trusted brands according to the Brand Trust Report; a study conducted by Trust Research Advisory. The company has grown at a tremendous pace over the years and in 2017 it was crowned as the country's largest snack company, surpassing all other domestic and international competitors. Haldiram products are available in more than...

Dear Sir/Madam This is to bring to your kind notice for further improvement and action to be taken at your end. I am your regular customer as per the brand name of Haldiram. On 18 Nov 2023 I visited your outlet in Chandni Chowk New Delhi-6 in the afternoon to have lunch/snacks along with my family. I saw it was crowded , so I felt hesitant to enter your outlet. I still decided to enter if the staff is permitting. I saw it was over crowded on each floor of your outlet of Haldiram. I asked the staff Is it possible for us to be entertained or not ? He replied please come, we will take care. You will be surprised to note that after we took the token for food ....it was horrible to explain. Waiter was not listening when we wanted our table to be cleaned where we wanted to sit even though your Manager/staff were not cooperating for the same. Even though the Waiter misbehaved with me, I reported this matter to the Manager ... he showed me the board for complaint. Serious matter took place when I was carrying the food up to my table. I fell over the chair by which I got hurt in my stomach as the food also fell down. It happened due to overcrowded outlet and misarrangements of chairs which would have been properly arranged for the convenience and comfort of customers. I had a very bad experience on that day.... The image of Haldiram got tarnished in my mind due to ill behaviour of the Haldiram Staff and arrangement of Haldiram Staff at this outlet of New Delhi. I am sure you will take some action on my above observation. Kindly do intimate to me the action...
